All in all, I haven't had much luck in converting smokers to vaping. Most of the guys at work who smoke - who I am still forced to vape with outside - only find it mildly interesting (mainly whatever flavor I'm smoking that day) and have shown no interest in switching.
However, tonight I went out with some good friends of mine - a couple - I haven't seen in a while, the wife smokes and the husband dips. Of course, I was using my Provari and extolling that I hadn't had a real cigarette in weeks. The wife didn't seem interested at first, but over the course of the night, she agreed to try it so I loaded up one of my old X2s with a clearomizer and some butterscotch flavor juice ...and she liked it! She vaped on it without so much as touching another cigarette the rest of the night. She became very interested after that first hit. In the end, I passed down to her my X2 kit, a couple of sample bottles of juice she might like, and showed her how to use it. Now, normally, I wouldn't have given my entire kit to her, but as I said, they are very good friends.
I don't know if she will stick to it ...it wasn't really HER idea - she didn't come to me, I suggested it to her - and as you all know from my previous posts, I'm a big proponent of success being more a factor of will rather than effort, but I'll do what I can to help her if she asks. We shall see ...
