I made my first e-cig purchase last week and got my inferno from Volcano on Saturday. I love the design and Volcano accessories are nice, even got a cool leather carrying case with inferno on it for $9.99...

Anyhow...

I am still not digging dripping... and this cartridge with filler nonsense is getting old, always gets juice on my fingers and the carts keep falling out because some don't fit quite snug, etc.

I ordered some clearomizers and cartomizers but heard clearomizers are no good with a weird taste or something... just thought it would be easier and still taste good.

So I am thinking of a tank... so can I just buy the tank parts for the inferno and it will be an inferno-t just like that? or am I missing something?

Any opinions on flavor and stuff from a tank compared to a cart?

thanks guys, love this place!

Hello and welcome. Yes, all you need to buy is an t atty and the tank itself. Clearomizers are what I use. They no longer come with the shipping primer in them so they don't have that nasy taste. If you use the clearomizers, you will need a 20 guage needle and syringe to fill tho. Those plastic things that come with them just don't work.
I am using the eGo -t system(same thing) and personally have never had any problems. Taste is great and so is vapor production. The vapor production depends on how much vg is in you liquid.

Thanks for the response... I got the syringe refill kit at volcano when I ordered the clearomizers. How many times can you refill them before they go bye-bye? How much do they hold? A pack of 5 for $10 seems like a great deal, which is what I bought from volcano.

And so for the tank... theres a tank atty and a tank that holds the liquid that attaches to the atty? like in place of a catridge? so its just a big cartridge really?

You can fill the clearomizers several times. After 5-6 times the plasic around the threads seem to crack a little --probably due to the heat. You can buy just the plastics tubes at a couple different vendors. I will look around for them. They seem to hold up quite well otherwise. And you can carefully take them apart and actually clean them under running hot water and put them back together without problems.
As for the tank systems. yes there is an atty specifically made for the tanks they hold. The two will only work with each other. so yea you could call it a big cartridge, I guess...except the tank has no filler, just holds jucie and give much better taste.
Hope this helps.
And you don't have to buy Volcano atty-t's and tanks. You can buy the tanks at any vendor(that sell them) and you could use the eGo atty-T because the threads on both are 510.

Sounds like you got the reg sized clearmizers. They hold approx 1ml of juice, where the XL holds almost 2ml

any idea how long the tankomizers usually last?

Seems like clearomizers are the way to go these days, for me at least... if you can put 1m of juice in 5 times before they go bad... I vape about 1ml a day... so a clearomizer would last 5 days or so... thats $2 and then the juice for those 5 days would cost about $3... thats $1 per day... much better than the $6.50 pack per day I was spending, hah.

as far as the clearomizers... how does the XL hold more, is it longer? if so, wouldn't it look strange on my inferno since the cone cover is only so long... the mouthpiece would stick out really far? haha

Yes the xl is longer. I am not sure that the cone will fit on it. But I don't used it anyway.. I vape many flavors during the day, hence, I have a lot of batts going at once. My friends all laugh at me, so I laugh with them. I just like variety and this works for me. I have used the XL's sometimes for a couple of weeks. And I don't think it looks strange. It is kinda neat watching the liquid inside. But that is just me.
The tanks I have have lasted well over 3 weeks. I have found that the lighter ejuices work better as the darker ones seem to clog them after a few tank fulls. But I just cleaned them and all is good now. I am using the reg atty-t not the LR.
