My First E-Cig.... oh dear...

Hello all! I read this forum quite frequently before purchasing my first ecig from ePuffer. (Super mini) It arrived on Monday, and I couldn't wait to try it out! Much to my dismay, I have to charge both batteries that it came with for 8 hours before using it. That sucked! But after reading about how fickle the batteries can be, I didn't want to chance ruining them.

I got up early the next morning and eagerly grabbed it to try it out with my morning coffee. A bit disappointing to say the least. I had to suck so hard on it that I was getting lightheaded...no throat hit and very little-to-no vapor! I thought that maybe I had done something wrong, so I did some more research online and watched a few videos. No luck.

I sent a private message to Marian00 and CaSHmere. They responded very quickly and gave me some tips and info. Marian told me that it could take about a week for it to really get going. Well, she was right! It's only really been a day or two, and it's so much better!

I'm really enjoying it now. The dripping that I learned has really helped too. Today I took it out with me to do errands. I took a couple of extra carts too, because they really didn't seem to be lasting long. Well, it was just fine, and I was out for about 5 hours. Good throat hits, good vapor the whole time! I was amazed!

I guess that I wanted to share so that maybe another new user might be encouraged. If it doesn't work great at first, keep working with it! It will happen. I'm really enjoying it now. I hope to give up those nasty traditional cigs soon. I still need one in the morning and one after I eat meals. I must admit, though, that they taste pretty bad now!

Can't wait to learn more and try out all of the different liquid flavors! I also ordered my 2nd and 3rd ecigs from Steve! Can't wait to receive them and try out a different one.

I did not like the 'standard' taste on mine, and was much much more pleased when I got the flavoured stuff, so you could be the same. It won't taste like tobacco though. There are SOME liquids that do resemble tobacco, but nothing will be that cloes to a cig. The gurgle depends on the atomizer, they all sound different.

I have one of those from e-Puffer, and another from Paxesshop, in the UK. It did require a breaking in period for me, too.

For what it is, and what it is is TINY, it works pretty well. You just have to remember that the cartridges and batteries won't last very long, maybe 2-3 cigarettes worth, and the teeny little atomizer can't produce anywhere near the amount of vapor of larger e-cigs.

But for something small and light, it just can't be beat, and it has the most realistic look of any of them. Great for sharing a smoke break with "real" smokers, or for holding in your mouth.

I keep meaning to film a demo of it. I haven't done any new videos in a while. Maybe this weekend.

Hey Cara - glad you're getting on well!! This is day 3 for me and I've managed to reduce to three real cigs a day, morning, lunch and pre-bed!! I'm still not keen on the taste of the e-cig, but i'm getting there. I've also ordered a super mini and am waiting for it to arrive so shall ensure I give it a few days to "get going" if its not great to start! Thanks for the tip!
