All I have to say is, WOW! I had no idea how close the feeling (throat hit), look ("smoke") and taste was to smoking an analog, it really took me by surprise. I am extremely impressed! Taking my first few vapes inside my apartment was something I would never have dreamed of with analogs, so the experience was 100% new for me all around! I can't imagine the need to go back to analogs as it stands now, I guess I will see in a few weeks whether or not I can stick it out.

I am not going to go into details as to what ecig I am using (perhaps not allowed due to potential spam/marketing worry), but lets just say I accidentally went with one of the more expensive ecig companies out there instead of looking into the DIY style of ecigs. I actually ordered a Joye 510 plus all the necessary supplies as well (regrettably after my other expensive ecig order shipped), and that should be showing up tomorrow I hope.

Either way though I didn't expect this level of similarity, I can only imagine how much better the DIY setup I have coming will be as I can play with all kinds of different flavors and different ecig varieties.

This is so much fun and is very exciting! No more offensive smell to bother the neibors, no more black lung, and best of all, I am going to save a TON of money with DIY instead of the $50 cartons of analog cigs I would have to buy every 11 days or so.

Thanks so much ECF for all the wonderful info about e-cigs, I feel like a kid in a candy store!

Most people will want to know what you're using, and most people are going to suggest what they enjoy using most, feel free to share. I'm really glad to hear you're first experience was a good one, so many people have that terrible first experience and judge the whole of e cigarettes, and vaping in general, off that one mall kiosk or corner store special. I myself thought the cigarette look alikes were all there was and went through a Century 21, SafeCig Micro, SafeCig Original, V2, and finally got my head screwed on straight and got myself an ego (though I felt the need to pay double what I should for a branded version lol)

Welcome to the forums, look around as there is a ton to be found here, and keep us posted on your experience.

Welcome to ECF and hopefully this will help you get off analogs. I to am a Ego user. just to restate what was said above, it is perfectly ok for you to say what you have and also other people will want to know what you use, what juice you like, and more. One thing i would suggest you get for your ego 510 is a Boge 2.0 carto , a drip tip, and possibly a LR Chibi Tank Mod (Boge 2.0) which i am currently waiting to try. Welcome and Keep Vapin!

get ready to spend some more money! and Congrats!!

Don't I know thats true....why can't one place have everything we want and need? I've dropped
the better part of 100 bucks just in shipping charges over the last couple of weeks! 5 orders!
Just to find out tonight one of the best dealers around(in Ontario) is in the town I live in! No store front of course.
I'll be well set-up though for a couple months at least, I hope!

Good to hear vaping's a hit for you ITPython, got a 40 yr. habit to drop, hoping e-cigs are the answer too!
All the best on your journey, wishing you every success on kicking your old habit.

Cheers, Hitmetwice.:vapor:

It is amazing, isn't it? Try some good stuff--that is, good PV and good juice--and most smokers are pleasantly surprised. The cheap-but-overpriced garbage makes a lot of folks hesitant to give it a second try.

Welcome! I'm new myself: I've only been vaping since December 1, but I'm enjoying it immensely; and after being a pack-a-day guy (sometimes more) for over 40 years, I've had only two analogs since December 1, and I'm not missing them!
