Hello!
Totally new to this. I spent the last 3 days on this forum looking for infos, tips and advices. I must thanks this awesome forum and members!
I did my homeworks!
I ve come to the conclusion that I ll go for a Joye 510-t for my first vaping experience.
What do ya all think?

For my purchase, i m ready to buy the kit + a spare mega battery + a spare atomizer + 3x30ml with nic ejuice
That s a pretty big order ($150) but i want to be set for at least 3 months.
I m smoking right now 10/12 cigs a day.
I think i ll go with Vaporium in Quebec.

Do you think i am making the right decision (kit/price/website),? (knowing I am in Canada)

Thanks a million times.

Val

Welcome , but for that kind of money , I would skip the Joye , and go with an EGO clone of sorts . A Kgo , or a Riva . I'm not sure what your options are in Canada , but if you can get one of those and just use regular carto's or atty's you will be much happier in the long run . And your wallet will thank you as well . Both of the ones I mentioned , come in kit form ( batteries , charger, etc ) A lot of people have problems with the tank versions . Regular atty's and carto's are cheaper anyway . Good Luck .

I agree with Renzuli. Kgo far superior product and many do have problems with the Ego tank leaking. Or you could buy an EPower- also very highly regarded and battery replacement is about $5.00 as opposed to $15- $20 for Kgo/ Ego because the batts are a separate unit. If your a light smoker I really don't think a tank is needed. Go here for ECF listed vendor. Best prices in Canada. Very highly regarded member/ vendor within the ECF Community.
Riva (same as a Kgo)
eGo Riva 650 or 1100mAh Black w/gold band or Stainless
EPower
Smoktech E-Power 14650 510 Kit
Good Luck.

Yes they are the same and canvape does not sell garbage. Like I say prolly the most popular vendor in Canada. Here's an Ecig glossary:
E-Cig Glossary. Definitions, abbreviations, and meanings. | eCigology
Have to go for dinner and will answer any questions tomorrow.
510 is the type of connector on the PV.
Don't be sorry for the questions- soak up everything you can like a sponge.

The quality of these kits are the same? Thanks and sorry for my questions lol

Thanks a lot, i ll go look at that. The 510 is not a pain to refill?

I just ordered the Riva kit from Canvape for a friend. However, I'm sure he's not going to be happy with the 510 atomizers, so I also ordered a few stardusts and I know he's going to love it. Still under $75 before tax and shipping. They shipped it yesterday and I had it in my hands this morning.

Woow thanks maestro, I checked some Youtube videos, and (even if it is big for me) i actually like it!

how long these star dust last?

What do you think about only ordering 2 stardust + 2 Ego batteries (650) + USB charger (i guess I wouldn't need atty, cones nor cartridge anymore), would this be a good kit and enough to last 3 months? ( with of course 90ml eliquid)

No burn taste?

ps: I feel a bit sad to go away from cigarettes-like-PV with the blue LED lol

I agree on going with an ego style battery, even if you only smoke 10-12 cigs a day I'm pretty sure you'll be disappointed in the small batteries. I would go a step further and buy ego batteries that are of the pass through type they cost only 4 or 5 bucks more and you won't need a charger. As far as the juice goes I would buy 9 10ml bottles as opposed to 3 30 ml bottles on your first purchase as everybody has different tastes and it quite likely you won't like a particular flavor. Once you know what you like then buy big ones. I personally haven't tried the stardust but I think it's a good way to start. If you decide on an ego tank system just ask the vendor if their caps are silicone or plastic. In my experience the silicone is the way to go and the plastic are hard to use and tend to leak. I live close to Vancouver too, if you want a local vendor Vaporgeek.com is in Surrey and gives fast service and good prices. There is also Vaporsolutions.com in Victoria. Watch the canadian section of ecf for vape meets as well, they are usually once a month on a Sunday afternoon at the anza club. There are generally a couple vendors there where you can first hand see/try their stuff.

Yes, a riva from canvape and a couple stardusts is a pretty good startup kit. The stardusts do work well. I've been using mine for about a month and theyre still going strong. If I were you I'd probably order more than two just to be on the safe side but that's just my opinion. I haven't encountered a burnt taste with it, but you have to remember to keep the wicks wet or else it may start to taste burnt. I'd send an email before you order just explaining what you need and Tom or Adam will get back to you pretty quick with some good advice. They don't try to sell you stuff you don't need, just help make sure you'll be satisfied with what you're ordering.

Good luck with your journey into vaping! It's fun!

Btw, a Riva definitely isn't going to be too big/unwieldy to use comfortably. I find any ego style batt to be the perfect size for on the go vaping.

To answer your question, I don't know how long a stardust lasts because I haven't had one fail on me yet. The problem is the tanks cracking. I've laid 3 to rest because of cracks. However, I plan to seal them somehow with some plastic cement or something and use them again. But keep in mind that at $5 a pop, they're cheap even if they only last 2 weeks. And if one burns out, you can make a new coil and wick for it, if you're so inclined.
