Hi Guys,

first of all, let me introduce myself. My name is Cassio, im a 34 years old Brazilian and being vaping for more then a year now.
Back here is quite easy to get supplies since we have a brazilian forum and a few suppliers that can send most of the normal stuff in a couple days. The rest we have to import. Mostly China, US and Europe We have meeting almost every months and now in Rio we are a big vaping family, always sharing new techs, juices and informations.

I´ve bought many things during this last year, but I´ve being using mostly my Lavatube and the Big Daddy tanks for the whole time :)

So here comes my question. I´ve got myself a 4 months vacation and I ll spend most of it in a road trip around US, Canada and Mexico. And since i know airports can be a big pain in the ... regarding e cigs, I was thinking about getting most of the stuff I ll need for the trip while Im already there.
The Provari is of course one of my big Must Have, but i would really like to meet some people and go to a proper store (if there is any).

And for final question, is there any problem regarding buying in the us and send it to Canada (Montreal)? because my base of operations will be there. And of course the only address that I will have for the next few months.

Anyway, hope you are all well and vaping.

Cheers
Cassio

Hi cassuc and welcome to ECF. Nicotine is not allowed to be imported into Canada so you're taking a chance. Post 5 times (welcome people, etc) in the New Members Forum wait 1 hr for the ECF servers to reset and request a Canadian Vendors List- some highly regarded juice vendors in and around Montreal. Have a great and safe trip.

I'm worried about travel myself. I'm flying to Vegas next week and am worried that they'll confiscate my e-cigs.

If you are in the US, I wouldn't be concerned about them being confiscated when traveling inside the US. Just make sure that you bring your juice in labeled bottles if you get any questions, which you likely won't.

As far as those traveling to Canada, stow your nic juice nicely and hidden and just carry non-nic juice and hopefully that will not be a problem for you.

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking about bringing sealed, prefilled cartomizers since they don't look as threatening as small bottles filled with liquid. I usually fill my own, but I'm trying to avoid the hassle.

You will be fine. I travel at least 2 weeks per month for work and I've never had issue. I don't even disconnect my tanks from the battery anymore. I just drop my provari & REO in the little bin and right through the xray. No one even questions me. A good friend of mine works for TSA in Boston and he tells me they review things like this in their weekly briefings. I of course am speaking strictly for domestic travel inside the US

Traveling within the US and from the US to some islands, I've never had a problem with batteries or juice in my carryon or in my checked bags. I put a little in both just in case. As for juice, the larger bottles are in my checked bag and I have 10ml bottles in my carry on. I've never taken them out of the carryon and they've gone through at least 10 flights with no problems. (knock on wood)
