Hi Vamo, not sure if you ordered yet but I just wanted to put my 2 cents if you haven't. You may want to check out Vapor Geek, that's a wonderful vendor right in BC. I personally would pass on a kit, but if I was going to buy a kit I would go with eGo C at this point, at least you can change just the atomizer heads instead of buying new atomizers and these things are a pain in the long run. If I was to start all over again, I would just buy 2 of 650 mah batteries (passthrough) and say 4 lr visions ego stardusts to start. Also with juice, start off in smaller quantities, like 10ml each of a couple different flavors until you find some that you like. I made the mistake of going gung-ho on large bottles of flavors I THOUGHT I would like and now I'm stuck with them.

I have nothing against canvape, in fact I order from them all the time but you won't get juice from him, Vapor Geek has everything you need to start with.

Just my opinion, have a nice day!

You're getting some good advice here Vamo.
It is also important to include a variety of nicotine levels in your initial juice order. You will need to experiment a little to find the 'dosage' that's right for you so be sure to order strengths in 6, 12, 18 and 24mg. This, together with the small bottles in a wide range of flavours will help to fine-tune your next order, which is when you'll really get down to business.

Thank hou so much for your advice. I ll place an order this weekend. If I order in BC, I will have to pay 12% HST, right? But not from canvape as it s not in BC?
Also, an eGo C kit is expensive. I like the idea of orering only batteries (eGo t type or eGo C type?!?) and vision stardust attys.
I ll follow ur advice and order 10ml samples of ejuices.
Thanks

I started with a 510T with regular 180 maH batteries... my husband used one, and I used the other. We fought for the charger sometimes, and bought a second kit in no time. The megas are definitely worth the money. As for an extra atomizer, 2.5 months later we still use the originals. I went through my first 30mL of juice in just over a month, he used his in just over 2 weeks. I was a half-pack a day smoker, and he was well over a pack a day. Two packs would last the two of us about a day and a half. For kit, I think you have picked great, and for price, you are really taking a hard hit. You should be able to get a kit that comes with two mega batteries for about 35 bucks, juice should be about 15 dollars for 30mL, and if you are the only one who will be vaping, you shouldn't need anything else at first.

Canvape is ONT. so the shipping will be a few days. You will only pay GST in BC as far as I know. I know it's a little more expensive the way I suggest but you get what you pay for most times. I am all for going with genuine Joyetech batteries/accessories, but that's just my opinion. I would just buy 2 good 650 mah passthrough batteries or 2 batteries with a USB charger & wall charger (separate) and some cartos (boge) or star dusts. It's a good way to start in my opinion. Also most sites have a coupon you put in during checkout. I believe theirs is under promotions. An extra 5% off. Good Luck. Oh, and if you are a light smoker/vaper one battery may do you just fine to start with. Happy Vaping!

PS fuzzione is right, you may want to look at nicotine levels, I was a menthol smoker and find low dose was good for me. But buy a couple different ones to compare. If you ever need help just look me up, I'm a recent newbie myself, but have learned some costly lessons.

One more thing, lol, it's good to get the batteries with 5 click on and off. Safer.

I don't agree with the highlighted part. Always have a backup. The first few days of quitting analogs is a particularly sensitive time and one that you can ill-afford to experience with equipment failure, drained or lost battery, etc. Get that 2nd battery just in case or you may just find youself back on analogs should you find yourself in a position of not having something to vape. It's cheap insurance really. Then, you can do what a lot of people do thereafter...buy backups for your backups :)

I sure will, checking the price of Joye batteries on Vapor Geek right now...Which one: Joyetech Ego-C upgrade, or Joyetech eGo-C, or Joyetech Ego-T upgrade, or Joyetech eGo-T, or Joyetech Ego.... I HAVE NO IDEA WTH are all these batteries! hahaha
or the eGo Riva on Canvape, very cheap!

+ for sure my Vision stardust :) :) :)

I can t wait to start vaping! I am hoping for the best!

Hi there! I have just spent the last week trying to find my niche with his vaping thing. It is quite a process to find what is needed and what suits you best. I got green smoke first, then an ego C with clearomizers and today I am a proud owner of a provari. Spent my monthly smoke budget in a week but I am set up for quite a while.
The ego c or clone is a great choice. I will use mine for when I am out and about. You can get adapters so they fit most devices you will want to try. I would suggest getting an atomizer and some cartomizers for travel. There is nothing worse than filling up and deciding you hate the taste. I tried the dripping thing today and am finally feeling a sense of accomplishment. Wish I tried that method first. You can have little tastes of your sample sizes of juice. Another thing is your taste buds will probably take a while to get to normal after smoking and this provides the best flavour to begin with. I hated the clearomizer when I got them, however I will revisit them after I am in the habit of vaping. They clogged up on me, it tasted funny, etc etc and I went through so much juice!!! you don't need to worry about that hassle yet... Keep it simple... Get low nic ( i am actually even considering no nic) juices as you might want to vape all the time :) and a higher strength when you need a kick.
Good luck Hope i gave you something you could use...

I agree on going with an ego style battery, even if you only smoke 10-12 cigs a day I'm pretty sure you'll be disappointed in the small batteries. I would go a step further and buy ego batteries that are of the pass through type they cost only 4 or 5 bucks more and you won't need a charger. As far as the juice goes I would buy 9 10ml bottles as opposed to 3 30 ml bottles on your first purchase as everybody has different tastes and it quite likely you won't like a particular flavor. Once you know what you like then buy big ones. I personally haven't tried the stardust but I think it's a good way to start. If you decide on an ego tank system just ask the vendor if their caps are silicone or plastic. In my experience the silicone is the way to go and the plastic are hard to use and tend to leak. I live close to Vancouver too, if you want a local vendor Vaporgeek.com is in Surrey and gives fast service and good prices. There is also Vaporsolutions.com in Victoria. Watch the canadian section of ecf for vape meets as well, they are usually once a month on a Sunday afternoon at the anza club. There are generally a couple vendors there where you can first hand see/try their stuff.

I apologize to you, I did not see that you gave the same advise! Please forgive me, but glad we concur! :)

You can always cut back a bit and only order 6 juices, 2 batteries & 3 star dusts. Cost you around 120.00 - 5% discount plus taxes & shipping. Or you can go with the Riva from canvape. Weigh the pros & cons. I have had lots of issues with the 3 piece cart/atomizer/battery kits but in the end it's your money & decision. Good Luck, best thing is to scout the forum & see what others say.
