My first go at mixing...Mothers Milk Clone...Lets start with a question

If you want go up to 20% - maybe add sweetener or more strawberry? I mix 50/50 - 15% flavor I know this flavor is over 50% VG base. It yummy to me, but flavor is subjective unfortunately.
You can play around with it and add what ever you want - someone said they thought Mothers Milk had graham in it so maybe try that too.

Hey you should try Strawberry Milk flavoring - It's a OSDIY blend and it's fantastic! all I do is add my PG/VG and nic and I'm good to go! So simple.
One Stop Flavors - 1 oz - One Stop DIY Shop Store

I also love their Baked Cinnamon Roll - tastes just like a baked cinnamon roll not the candy cinnamon.
Their Blue Raspberry Slushie is awesome too!!!
These flavors make my mixing so simple it crazy!

FINE!!! TWIST MY ARM!!! :D

Picked up some yesterday and managed to buy another $50 of stuff (mostly bottles). If anyone here is in San Francisco and wants to try literally 25+ attempts at mother's milk, let me know because I have a TON of testers.

Do we have any idea what's actually in the Strawberry Milk though? Trying to stay away from acetoin and acetyl propinyl (though capella custard V2 is pretty garbo).

I may have been the one who claimed I could taste Graham in MM, though not sure. I made a batch with graham one night drunk and SWORE I had the recipe down, but the next day, it didn't quite taste the same. I think the flavor people associate with graham is the vanilla most of the time.

Strangely enough, MM has been tasting bland and chalky to me lately. Tried some of my old and new, and neither tasted like it used to.

Haha wsup Snipe. Yo i did that same sheeit with unicorn milk drunk one night. Thought I had it down. Woke up like nuh uh. Not close. What's good tho. Nice 2 c uh fellow Frisconian dabblin in the art of self mixing. I just got my order from OSDIY the other day. Maybe it was high hopes but the strawberry milk ain't doin it for me. I've tried up tuh 20% with no lukk. Seems like uh lakk of flavor. Hopefully better wit steep but i hot water bathed an EH. Oh well. I'm hopin iss jus me and not their whole new batch.

Yeah - for a while I thought Capella Strawberries and Cream was gonna be the key, but no such luck either. I actually have a batch of V22 (lol - yup - 22 well documented versions later and I'm still trying) UC steeping right now that I'm SURE is gonna be the key. :/

That said, I've come up with some interesting variations along the way. Still don't have anything that I prefer over the suicide bunny line tho. :( Even the bad ones (well - maybe more than the OB).

I can't seem to get that milky creamy aspect out of any DIY creams I've purchased that I get from Unicorn Milk and somewhat from Mother's Milk. Frustrating. But the road continues.

Do you have Capella Vanilla Custard V1? I'm 90% sure it's the base for EVERY great creamy flavor out there. It'll get you pretty close. It's the fruit / chalkiness that I can't quite figure out.

Also happy to give you some Capella V1 / Capella V2 if you'd like. I have more than enough. I'm in West Portal.
Haven't tried V1. All I've tried is V2. From some1 whose never tried V1 I think V2 isn't that bad at all. But from what I've read. V1 is proly thee bomb.com But I been afraid tuh get it from everything I hear. Kina want 2 tho. Thanx fer the offer man. Appreciate it. Might haftuh hit u up 1 uh these days. My last Capella order dint go so well. Been well over 2 weeks an it's still stukk in san marcos. Reminds me gotta call USPS. Grew up in Bernal Heights on Cortland ave. Relocated tuh San Bruno Las couple years. But I'm in the city daily. Right on.[emoji106]

Don't want to scare you, BUUUUUUUT - you're probably vaping much worse .... from vendors. :( I'm far more scared of what they're putting in their juices than anything I'm putting in mine.

V2 is decent, but a bit plasticy and much lighter on vanilla. Yes, it got rid of acetoin and acetyl propinyl, but what did they replace it with??? TBH, I'm almost at the point where I feel it's better to go custardless than go V2 (though I'm still testing with it).

I just made a Sleven clone that's pretty good with Capella V2, but had to add quite a bit of vanilla to get close.

Yah I hear yuh. Kina why I started my DIY endeavor. Haven't bought uh juice in months. I've just saved uh few of em that I liked for smell and taste references on some clone attempts. Ur proly right on the elimination of custards as uh whole. BUT DAMN R THEY GOOD. Proly gonna give V1 uh try jus tuh c what I can create. An vape on once ina while. I feel u on adding vanilla tuh V2. I used like 2 of TFA's vanillas tuh make uh pretty good vanilla vape wit V2. It's kep me from buyin anythin 4 now.

I might give that a shot, but haven't thought TFA creams were particularly close thus far. I'd love to be wrong. :D

Actually have a batch of Catalan Cream, FA Custard, and Vienna Cream UC steeping right now to test.

Please let me know how those turn out I wanted to try Catalan cream and custard from flavor art also you should check out oneonone flavors they have some pretty interesting flavors there

I modified to TFA/LA flavors and it's amazing you would even share this recipe. Yes my version goes over 20% but those who wish could easily modify as desired. I found this stuff was good after mixing and even more creamy after two days.

6% Ripe Strawberry
6% Cheese Cake (LA)
2% Vanilla Custard
3% Bavarian Cream
3% Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
2% Sweet Cream
1% Sweetener

I tried this tonight but had to sub cap sweet strawberry and skipped the vanilla bean ice cream and TFA custard because I didn't have them and used cap vanilla custard at 5% instead. It's only had a hot water bath so far and already it's fantastic! Thank you very much for this!

To my taste:

FA Custard - not anywhere close to what you'd expect from a custard. I think the word means something else to the euro's as this one has an unexpected lemon / citrus taste that is VERY strong. Really unexpected and makes it unusable in quantities that would give the custard aspects you're probably looking for IMO.

FA Vienna Cream - similar to sweet cream from TFA kinda. Not much flavor once it mellows out, but ads some sweet, creaminess.

FA Catalan Cream - similar to Vienna with maybe a little more caramel? I don't have an atty I can drip these guys on right now, but will add more detail when I can.

Overall, the FA creams are either mild or wild. I really should have bought a smaller bottle of the custard.

You can get a 4oz from Joann's for 4.99 and use code YSQA207 to get free shipping on orders over 12.25.

LA Cream Cheese icing is interesting, but didn't do much for me. Another one I have a huge bottle of that I won't use.

What I'm kinda struggling with now is the strawberry note in MM. I really don't think it's Capella.

Just mixed this. Went less on strawberry more on custard. Dint have sweet cream but had VaporShots vanilla cream. Added saline. Not really tasting much yet. Pretty much just cheesecake I believe. Proly due to the bigger air holes in my rda. Gonna let age uh couple days an check again. Not bad. May hit it with uh hot water bath tuh speed things up. Seems promising tho.

Don't have TFA ripe strawberry, may pick it up after I try strawberry milk.

Looking at that recipe, I really can't imagine it getting too close. I used to think LA Bavarian Cream was the answer, and am guessing LA Cheesecake is pretty close - but I've gone away from LA stuff as most seems to have color added.

Pretty sure Sweet Cream, Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, Bavarian Cream, AND Cheese Cake all have Acetoin / AP in them btw...
