My first go at mixing...Mothers Milk Clone...Lets start with a question

I've had bad luck with EM I think (that's TFA Sweetner correct?) It kind kills all flavor IME.

Just got my Hangsen and FA Strawberry flavors. Hangsen is pretty nice, but it's tough to trust the Chinese. FA is more like real Strawbery flavor. Really interesting, but not the flavor I really taste in MM.

The one thing I realized the other day is that there's almost certainly more vanilla added to MM than just the VC. Adding some TFA Vanilla Swirl really made a couple attempts taste closer.

Anyone have a favorite vanilla? Haven't loved Cap French vanilla V1, and the V2 tastes like nothing in my experience. Anyone?

No tfa sweetner is sucralose syrup ethyl maltol can turn a light vape to a full body vape IMO it's nice but you can't add to much when you use a bunch then your just making cotton candy ejuice lol and idk if you have ever tried this but vanillin is nice that just might be the key ingredient I've tried my friends mix with blueberry pom and vanillin it was nice I haven't mixed with it yet but I have some on it's way it should be here Friday

Well - the struggle continues. I just can't quite get the fruit right (or the cream if we're being honest).

Lately I'm getting the thing where if I vape too much, it really starts to taste like butter. Almost want to start putting some Cap butter in my mixes.
I'm tellin u. Mothers Milk and Unicorn Milk got this creaminess that I can't put my dam finger on man. I hear u. I got like 20 diff creams that jus ain't comin close neither. It's irritating 2 say the least.

Think I'm gonna try some EM. You try EM yet? I've had the TFA sweetner up to this point and thought it was EM, but am starting to think that may be the little 'chalkiness' that takes the sharp edge off capella strawberry.

I have a couple mixes that are close as far as profile, but after trying HA, CA, and FA strawberry, along with TFA and CA Strawberries and cream, I'm thinking there's gotta be something else in there that's pulling it together. I've tried the Green Lemu strawberry / orange cream / dragon fruit / pear combo, but it's not quite right. The strawberry seems to be what's providing an odd bite that's not present in MM.

Do you think that butterscotch is the missing link maybe with a little orange?

It's interesting that you mention butterscotch, as I'm definitely of the belief that once people get used to mixing certain flavors, they tend to stick with what they know. In this case, MM came first, and then Pip released Claim the Throne, which is def a high butterscotch flavor. It seems to me that most of her flavors are slight tweaks of the same cream base (MM,OB,Sucker, Claim, maybe Mardina though the melon is super strong, etc.).

That said, I've never tasted cinnamon, butterscotch, or orange per se. Not to say they're not in there - I just haven't really picked up those notes.

Thinking it's time to try VZ Strawberry and some EM.

Go low wit vz strawberry. I put 2 much an it tasted like perfume tuh me. I started 2 high wit all their fruits an dint like any now that I'm better at mixin I found that 1 % mango was enough. So I gotta go thru the batch 1 moe gen.

I think Dulce de leche is the missing link you guys are searching for.
I dunno. In all my attempts wit that flavor it's super strong usually overpowering everything else I mix it wit. Only way I'm able tuh use it is at uh few drops per 10ml personally think iss strong. I do uae it to sweeten things tho

there is definitely cinnamon in MM. I would assume just from making my own juices, that there are a lot of flavors that others don't taste simply resulting from the device, watts, volts, wicking material and so many factors that once you start picking out flavors and notes in the 3% and lower range, they tend to be hit or miss. Not to mention taste buds, clean palettes and resetting your taste. I was reading on the tips and tricks forum the other day here on the ECF and there was a thread on how to reset your palette and taste buds so you can taste flavors better..........WOW. taste reboot......who knew....

I think I know why you guys aren't hitting that cream it's because everyone's thinking it's a single cream flavoring when it's not if I had to guess the cream she uses is a pre steeped cream base with a bunch of ingredients and I have to say after trying a lot of strawberrys cap sweet strawberry is the most promising I would suggest mixing up a bottle of sweet straw and ethyl maltol then vape it for a while till you find the right combo that's what I've been doing lately I got a bunch of 6 ml bottles I'm getting close on the starship 1 clone but I'm missing something I'll let you guys know when I hit it I'm beginning to think there isn't any kiwi in it at all if there is not one that's available to the public or if it is then it's mixed at a extremely low percentage but it still overwhelms the custard idk it's weird when I vape to much st1 I start going custard dead and I taste only fruit

Mike,

I've tried damn near every cream known to man. Capella VC V1&2, FA Vienna, VC, Catalan, Fresh, TFA Sweet Cream, fruits with cream like Capella Strawberries & Cream, Orange Creamsicle, TFA Strawberries & Cream, Orange Cream. I've tried cupcakes, graham crackers, cheese cakes, 5 types of strawberries. I'm through ~30 well documented versions at this point.......and still counting.

The one thing I've noticed when tasting, is that the strawberry fades quickly. Your first hit you get strawberry, but on subsequent hits, it fades very quickly. With all the strawberries I've tried, there seems to be an odd taste that I'm hoping EM will get rid of.

BTW - after talking about cinnamon, I decided to head out back to vape, and suggestion is key - I definitely picked up a little (though it was likely in my head). Try thinking about cinnamon next time you drink a Blanco Tequila..........

I have been vaping just cap sweet straw and ethyl maltol mix trying to get that flavor right I've been mixing them in 6ml bottles I noticed that the em really takes the sharpness off of the sweet straw well scratch that I've been using me and cotton candy same thing but cotton candy is a more concentrated version of em still not perfected but I noticed a drop per ml of cotton candy can really change any mix but I'm a impatient person so letting it steep is kinda hard for me I just found a bottle of vanilla custard I mixed up on 6/13 and it's super creamy and smooth I used cap custard v1 and I can't even taste the eggyness I just get kinda a creamy flavor with hints of cinnamon (I used eggnog) but I only can taste it slightly cause I know it's there lol I'm gonna add some of that cotton candy sweet straw to it and see what happens
