My first mech mod

Ok so I just bought my first mech mod, I picked up the bolt. I also got a trust fire 18650 bat. And the trust fire charger. I have had the batt on charge now for about 3 hours and the charger is still showing red. Will the charge turned green when fully charge, and how long does it take to charge this batt.

On most Trustfire chargers it will turn green when battery is fully charged. It can take upwards of 4 hours on large Mah batteries.

It'll turn green, my two 18350's take 5+ hours to fully charge when empty so I'd guess one 18650 would take 3+ at least but someone who has one will probably know better, I'm sure they'll be along shortly

sorry but i believe the bolt isnt a mechanical mod due to the wiring behind the button. can anyone clarify that for me.

If it's the TR-001 charger, it will turn green when it's finished. Depending on the charge left in the battery, it can take a short time, or a long time. How many mAh is the battery?

With Trustfire the usual Mah is either 2400, 2500, and now 3000. Any of which will take a good deal of time.

Yeah, so if it was completely drained when you threw it on the charger, it's going to take quite a bit of time to recharge.

When I got it today I put it together and tried it a few times and wow, what a complete change it is form twist and spinners. I am using a AGA T2 on it and wow. Can't wait to see this baby with a full charge and my AgA T 2 on it

Yes you are right. A true definition of a mech mod uses no wiring so the bolt is not a mech mod!

went from the starter kit to my first and probably only PV i will need for the next 6 months. the "OMEGA" from alt smoke. given the kind of work environment i have to deal with. not knowing too much about this stuff. this unit is durable reliable and gets me sailing through my day. felt it was best way to avert the coming credit card wreck if i had spent too much time on these threads. now my expenses for the next 5 months will be juice, carts, attys, and o rings. 10 mg bottle lasts me all week.
