First of all I want to thank everyone who posts in this forum for the ideas, schematics and walk-thru's provided in order for me to begin producing my own concepts.

I began building a 5v Nicostick just before the holidays, solely using RS parts.

Obviously I didn't have all of the parts I needed to finish it up (connector, batts). So of course I headed over to madvapes and put in an order for some extra parts and connectors; then over to DX for some batts and charger.

Two days ago I received my madvapes package (still waiting on my DX order), so I decided to build a 5v Pass Thru using the free Madvapes keychain flashlight.

The flashlight comes apart quite easily, so provided a great casing for the mod. The switch was a simple mechanical button that was easily pulled out, along with the battery connections. The hole left was nearly perfect (slight widening needed) for a 510 atty connector.

I attempted using the provided plastic cover from the flashlight for button placement, but it cracked while placing the hole. Decided an unused guitar pick would work beautifully. Could've been placed a little better for aesthetics sake, but I was blowin' thru it to get it done.

The POS/NEG wires from the USB cord used were too thin to hold solid connections during regular use, so I connected them to some 22g wiring pre-casing, then taped up the mess. Unfortunately I couldn't find my Gorilla tape, so duct tape was used to conceal the wiring connections.

Whadda ya think? All comments, criticisms, concerns welcome!

I'm using a USB wall adapter rated at 5V 1A. I assume it's probably dropping to about 4.2-4.5v under load, though I've not tested it yet.

All I know for sure is it vapes better than any battery or PT I've used yet.
Well keep using the same 510 atties as a true Joye 510 atty (2.3 ohms) is not vapeable at 1A.

Actually i'm using both an atty that originally came with my Titan from TW, as well as a newer atty I'd received from MadVapes. Not sure exactly on the in difference either sellers supply, but both work equally as well.

Do you know where I can find spec sheets on 510 attys? Either the Joye or any other model...
