Congrats on getting rid of cigs, I've been smoking 28 years and cut down from 3 packs a day to a pack every 2 days. Getting there slowly. Question about the Blu ecig, did you smoke the tobacco flavor they have? I bought some and screwed them on my Vamo and if I would have tried them first I would have thrown it in the trash and continued smoking the real thing. I've tried e-cigs many times but they just didn't work. had to suck on it to hard to get anything out of it. Bought the Ego-T tanks system and it worked, Gave me that throat hit and full lungs the e-cig couldn't give me. Out grew it pretty quick and went to the Vamo VV. Again Congrats

I tried every type of blue within the first week. The cherry is by far my favorite. The flavors is the one thing blu has going for them. The only bad one IMO is the coffee burnt awful taste. I have been thinking about getting a Vamo. I have seen full kits priced right. The Blu works pretty good for the first handful maybe 6 or 7 vapes then the battery has lost enough power to drastically weaken the vape. I find the carts work great on my mods. If the Blu refills didn't have such an insane price I would buy the cherry from time to time. If you have not tried a DCT on that Vamo try one.... My K200 came with one and It is like starting again compared to the Vivi Nova. I can taste the flavor much better in the DCT than the Nova. I can also run the 2.4Ohm DCT at a full 6V giving a much warmer vape (much more like analog). It may be what you need to put those analogs to rest. I'm going to bite the bullet and buy top dollar "Tank" or whatever they are called. I have to read up on them but, I have noticed in my searching for gear some tanks in the $50.00 range. I have a sneaky feeling the right one is worth it. I can't get over how much better this DCT is compared to the wick tank of the Nova. Thank you for your response.

Welcome! My wife and I started down the rabbit hole with Fin e-cigs from Wally-World. Like you it didn't take long to upgrade to an eGo. I'm looking at a Provari now.... I was hoping to save money (which I think will happen in the long run) but heck, we aren't smoking and that is a hell of a win.[/QUOT

We will all save in the end. Making your own juice is key. I bought a 4 year supply for less than $200.00. (unless my consumption goes up!). A Provari cost is less than a months worth of Analogs. I think the big mistake most of us new vapers make is not jumping in and buying the high end stuff right up front. In my first few weeks with the Blu I spent nearly $200.00 on the unit, extra battery, and carts. I have spent around $300.00 since and I have a 4.5 yr supply of nick, a top of the line battery charger that does everything except install the battery back into the PV, all my mixing tools, test kit, a good back up (K200), Kanthol wire, wick, (all in rolls), stuff that will be years worth. I'm still learning but, have a good idea how I want to be set up. I have been pondering how to cover long power outage (solar and 12v), spares in the autos, and like you just which of the best is truely the best PV for a primary. I see something like a bolt in the near future (bullet proof) not much to go wrong. I doubt a bolt would be a primary because I like the VV or VW for that constant vape. After the Blu I never again want to be at the mercy of the battery drain! Thank you for your response.

Congatulations! I'm on day 3 of analog free bliss myself. Tried patches, nic gum (blech).....nothing seemed to work the times I tried to quit....then I discovered ecigs, (and Swedish snus and nasal snuff) and was able to cut down from a pack to pack and a half a day to 15 to 10, to all the way down to 2 a day, then finally 3 days ago only vaping, snus, and snuff. I've read about the many ex smokers here and now reading your success, I know I can do it. Congratulations again!

Congrats! I've been coughing up half a lung here and there for a week now. I've been smoking one or two cigarette a day for a week or two and generally just carrying around a pack and a lighter for the comfort of it. And I realized earlier today that I hadn't even thought about smoking. That is awesome! 14 years of smoking.. no nay never no more :)

Yes you can. That day in the WM parking lot.... The very first time I tried a Ecig was the last time I smoked analog. I wasn't even trying to quit. My GF wanted something I didn't have to go outside at night to use. Be sure to get something with a bit of power behind it and you won't miss the analog one bit. I find the heat from a hotter coil is much more like an analog. If you have not tried a DCT give one a go. Good luck and don't look back!

CONGRATS!!! It's amazing isn't it? Love your story and I'm right behind you, after 40 yrs. of smoking....nothing less than a miracle....and what a fun hobby too!! Keep it up....you're doing great!!! I cannot believe you have that much juice fixins!! :D

Me either! What was I thinking? LOL I guess with all the regulations being threatened a person may be wise to stock up. I have messaged WL to find out about half life of the solutions and best practice for longer term storage. I asked them a bunch of specific questions. Maybe I will make a post of the answers.

Don't get me wrong I have a soft spot for Blu because of my GF and Blu I have seen the light!

Yeah, I got a soft spot for them myself. Dumped them in about two weeks but they got me started and it's because of them I came here to ECF (looking for info).

And congrats!
