If you decide that your NET is a bit too gunky, you might want to pick up some filter paper or filter felt. Using them can significantly reduce gunking issues extending the life of coils and wicks. A typical coffee filter only retains particles around 30 microns in diameter and larger. For better performance, I would recommend filtering your tobacco extracts around 2 - 3 microns.
Gravity filtering a PG based extract through 2 - 3 micron filter paper can take
all day and that's if it's plenty warm, >75F. A VG based extract would require mechanical assistance (
vacuum or positive pressure).

Several people have cut filter paper to fit their Aeropress and reported good results, just something else to consider. Would require a much smaller filter diameter which would be less expensive.
