Hey everyone!
I haven't really thought about posting in one if these forums until today. I received my first rba today and thought i migh share it with you all and get some feed back. So...here's what I'm working with:
Cloupor T8 150 Watt, variable wattage, dual 18650 2600mAh, box
CLT v2 rda with 26 gauge 6/5 dual coils on cotton wicks
I'm running 60 watts - 4.9 volts at .40 Resistance.

I've attached some photos. the build works well. i get even heating and ok vapor but I really think I could get more. What can I do to get more vapor. I want ti see how much I can really make! lol. I'd obviously be vape that much normally but I see people chucking huge clous and dont understand why I'm not. Or maybe it's all perspective. What do you think?

Hey Ant! Nice setup :)

I'm not a "cloud-chaser", but I do like a thick vape.... My first question is what PG/VG ratio are you using? VG will create a denser vape than PG. The other thing is to take a read through the first post of the following: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-vaping-discussion/611315-my-thoughts-about-sub-ohm-latest-vv-vw-devices.html

This gent digs into the "thermodynamics" of how vapor gets created and might give you some ideas to consider for your build....

Reader's Digest version is that there are multiple factors that play into a "cloud-filled" vape besides just resistance. You have to consider wire density, airflow, and wicking capability to name a few.

Welcome to ECF!

Also Susan - I'm using Vamped 18650 2300mah(not 2600) 40amp varieties. That 2600 must have been a typo. sorry.

Those batteries are actually 20A CDR. 40A is the pulse discharge. So if you need a REAL 30A battery (which your 150watt mod does it you vape above 100watts) look for a Sony VTC4 2100 mah or XTAR 2100 mah (rewrapped VTC4). RTD Vapor usually has them in stock.

BATTERIES - WHERE TO BUY

Only buy batteries from a reputable supplier (not ebay or Amazon) as there are many counterfeit batteries being sold. Here are several reputable battery suppliers in the US.

* RTD Vapor
* Illumination Supply
* Lighthound
* Orbtronics

Welcome!

Coils look OK but I think your air flow might be somewhat restricted by the amount of wicking you are using.

Coil placement has a great effect on performance, too. When I am trying a new build, before I wick it, I put the atty cap/top on and make sure I can see the glowing coil centered in the air vents. I have also experimented with raising and lowering the coils to see what effect this has on the vape.

You would be surprised at what factors affect your vape. To much or not enough wick, height of coils, air flow around the coils and even the distance of the coils from the air source.

It pays to have backup devices so you can vape as you play/experiment.
