I want to get into rebuilding. I want to start building coils and taking vaping to that extra level where it's a hobby for me and I need recommendations. I'd like to spend around $30 for my first RBA (price not including wire and wick). I use a k101 mech mod and generally use it in 18650 mode with an AW IMR battery. Can you guys give me some advice on what rebuildable to buy? Drippers, tanks, whatever you particular enjoy on a budget.

You are going to get a lot of info, and a lot of tips, but I think for a beginner, go with the IGO-L. I am absolutely in love with mine (I have two and a W on the way). They are big enough to work with without losing your mind and hold a good amount of juice. You can find them for around $12-$15, which is cheap compared to some of the tank or higher end RDA/RBA options. Good luck, I have tried lots of gear over time and dripping has been what's worked flawlessly for me. There is a bit of a learning curve going in, but once you get a good coil, it becomes almost second nature.
I would also recommend an Igo-L for a dripper. They're great little rda's. For an RBA, I would say an RSST because they're pretty cheap (right around $30) and they're one of the easiest to set-up.
Igow W is around 30 bucks. and they sell a cap that has two holes in it for dual coil if you want to go that route.
1. Make sure you have a way to check the resistance on your atty before you fire it. This is especially important when you are going to use it on a mechanical mod. Do you have a regulated device or something that is VV/VW? They are a little safer when you first begin, plus many of them have an ohm reader built in.
2. DO NOT start out building super low resistant coils (sub ohm). If that is your ultimate goal, wait until you have a better handle on rebuilding.
3. There are a lot of options with wick material and styles of build. I recommend getting some plain old silica and 32 gauge Kanthal to begin with. Again, once you have some skill, then maybe venture into micro coil, SS mesh, etc...
As far as what RBA to choose, you really should start out with a dripper. The Igo-L or the Igo-W are very economical and have a lot of fans. I prefer RBAs that use a tank, but the ones that work well with silica are a bit out of your price range. You should look into the Fogger v2 or the Rocket Tank , if you are looking into tanks.
Genesis style atomizers are difficult for newbies. Even the RSST, which is touted as a beginner genesis, is still pretty tough to get working with SS mesh.

The AGA-T2+ was not my first Genny but it is a good one. Drippers are a good place to start making coils using eko, mesh, silica or wool. It's also easy on drippers to try out different wire thicknesses to get to different ohm reading.
This is a great atty and easy to rebuild.
