my first rda on top an mvp 20w

Hey everyone!

First off sorry if this has already been discussed. I have an mvp 20watt and I want to start getting into rda's (right now I am using the natilus mini). I just ordered a plume veil 1.5 clone for cheap. I know my mvp 20w is going to limit me to 1 ohm or higher so I plan on just starting out with single coil builds. I can't buy a new battery because I can't afford it at the moment.

Here is my question(s). How exactly do I decide what wire and coil diameter I should use? If I'm shooting for 1.2 ohm (let's just say) how should I get there for optimal vapage (Or any other specific Ohm reading)? How do I determine a wire and coil diameter that won't take forever to heat up? what needs to be considered? what ohm range should I be in to get the most optimal use from my mvp 20w? What else should I be thinking about?

I think I would go with about 7 wraps of 27g on a 3/32" bit for a single coil.

I do have a Plume Veil, but I'm running on a mech.

Download the steam engine app to your phone and use its coil calculator to "test" some builds until you get one that looks good. Choose a wire gauge in the 28-32 range for fast ramp up time, and plan to run at the full 20W. I run a MutationX on an iStick 30W at 1.3-ish ohms and 30W, so I'd recommend something in that neighborhood or a little higher. 1.5 ohm, maybe?
