It's a Silver/Black Grand, I'm very excited and it's working well so far, but I need to keep using it for a few days to break the new AVA Atomizer in and learn how to use an atomizer (instead of my usual cartos) properly in the first place.

(Please ignore the Vmod XL in the photo - I took that to show my GF who also has and and loves the Vmod to show her a size comparison)

One quick question though. What is the small baggie of gray goopy stuff that leaked all over everything else in the big baggie? It wasn't covered anywhere on the instruction sheet and I couldn't really use the search function here because I don't know what it's called. :( Thanks! :)

First, congratulations on your new REO. I say this all the time - My REO mini was one of the very best vaping purchases I've ever made. It's a wonderful device! You'll enjoy it for years to come.

And dman87 is absolutely right. That stuff is noalox. It's an anti-oxidant compound for electrical connections. Here's some more information about what it is. Any time you clean your REO, you should apply a little bit of that to the firing pin.

Don't put it on the threads if you mean the threads in the connector. Just a dab on the firing pin when you clean the mod.

I think that goopy stuff is called Nolax??? U put on the firing pin and threads to make it work better??? I'm sure some one will correct me if I'm wrong. But I'm sure someone with a better answer will post something soon

Huge info right here! Most people put it on the threads of Tube mods, if somebody is new to this (me a few months ago) they will read put it on the threads and have a really funked taste... Since the threads in a Reo's sense are the Door, you only need it on the piece of metal that comes down and touches the Battery when you press the button (Firing Pin).

Thank you everyone!!! :)

OK, I'm glad that I asked! I thought Noalox was only needed for the threads on metal tube mods. So I'm assuming I place just a very tiny amount of it on just the part of the firing pin that makes contact with the battery every time I clean/wash the REO to keep the firing pin from rusting then, right?

And yes it did leak out of the little baggie but it was very easy to clean up as it only got on my extra bottles and the business card in the bigger baggie, which I blame USPS for and not Reosmods of course. I actually have an unopened sealed tube of Noalox in the garage that I bought for something else about a year ago and never used.
