I sort of figured...but does the shorter not still hold true? Haven't gotten to using my mesh yet.

I haven't tried the mesh. I just figured you wouldn't have to worry about the wick clogging the squonk hole so the length wouldn't be such a critical factor.

I've found that to be optimal length for mesh on the rm2. If the posts were closer, leaving more space on the outer edge, I'd wrap the wick around.

Use a standard 28g 10 wrap micro coil. Mesh heats with the coil essentially becoming an extension of the coil and expanding the heating area while imparting zero flavor.

Unless you were to make a SS mesh wick thicker than the 1/16th micro coil inner diameter I wouldn't go with a thicker gauge wire or lower ohms. Just my experience...
