It will be coming tomorrow and wow am I extremely excited. I ordered the tumbled LP grand, black door, a LP RM2, black button cover, and some spare parts. I will post pics as soon as it arrives. I'm sure I will have questions so I'd rather just start my own thread then post in everyone elses. I will be sub ohm vaping and saw someone say something about noalax on the pin to prevent sparking? I don't even know if I spelled it right but assuming I can pick some up from Home Depot. One thing I am thinking about is how to run dual coil on the RM2 and it wicking properly. Anyone have a method for this? Thanks for all your help, advice and guidance.

Welcome and congratulations, you've made good choices and think once you get it in your hands you will understand why there are such fanatics here.

Make sure you get the pics up because
1- Everyone here loves pics
2- You will get your badge, welcoming serenade and a toot off the Viking :)

Feel free to ask any questions and enjoy your stay!

PS, if you find out when trash pick up really is, please let me know.

PSS, Yes, you can get Noalox at Home Depot in the electrical dept if I remember correctly.

Forgot to add, I have never tried dual coils in the RM2 but I would guess that there will be no problem wicking but there is limited real estate on the back side of the posts for a second coil. You could stack them on one side and have the tails on the top wick hang down to feed, just make sure not to block the hole in the deck. I'm sure others here can give you first hand experience with duals.

I have found a single coil is sufficient for an exceptional vape.

I hope I am making sense, have just started my morning coffee and it hasn't kicked in yet.

I'm going to try a few coil builds on it before I try to run duallies. I'm so excited that I already have two coils built. One on a 1/16th and one on a 5/64th. I'm off work today so I have nothing but vape time available. Lol, I just have to wait for my girl to get off work because I had it shipped to her office. I might become that crazy vape guy and cross a bridge to go get my Reo because she doesn't get off work until 6pm.

A day off and a REO waiting? I would run across the bridge naked if that's what it took:D

From your avatar, I would think you could run a stealth op to extract it from the office before anyone knew you were there:)

I'm going to have to recon first but maybe I can slide into the mail room, tranq the employees and get my reo and slide out. I'm sure only my girl would see me. She knows how I operate lol.

This^^ You are off today and *NEED* Reo :)

If you ordered from ROb it should come with a little baggie of noalox (it looks like a baggie of gray sludge). It should be plenty to get ya through a good while.

PS - Pics!!! We love pics :D If you go on a recon mission to get it, make sure you take a camera dude!

I love enablers. Katy, Clark's lady from Nicoticket, made me buy a Reo and that's why I probably will go on a recon mission to my girl's work. I don't have too much info on her workplace except the address and it's on the 33rd floor. I've looked online for blueprints with no luck. I do not feel like walking up 33 flights of stairs so the elevator will have to be used for at least 30 floors lol.

I don't believe the metal Reos ship with noalox anymore, the upgraded contacts remove the "need" for use?

I really have no idea but thought that was one of the things people were excited about regarding the upgrades. I bought a new Grand as soon as the upgrades were installed, it did not come with any noalox.

Just a thought but you might want to twist two wires together and use it as a dual coil. You can keep it on one side of the RM2 and get the dual setup you want. It also give a lot of surface area I haven't done any studies on it but I think with the twisted actually gives more area than two separate coils. Grab a piece of wire twice as long as usual put the two ends in a drill and loop the other end over something like a nail or toothpick nearly anything will work. Spin the drill slowly until it's as tight as you want it roll up a coil wick it and blow yourself away.

Twisted definitely does have more surface area. I don't have access to a drill where I'm at right now, so I get one long piece of wire and fold it in half and then spin it up with a pencil. I hold both pieces about an inch from the pencil and then work further away while spinning. I spin the pencil like a stereotype of someone waving a magical wand, in a circular motion.

That being said, for the Reo 1 ohm 28 gauge is my favorite.
