My first split coil!

It's 5 wraps plus 5 wraps of 24awg with an ID of 3.5 mm. On this rba, there are two air holes on the bottom of the deck. So I centered each half of the coil over each air hole.

I also blocked off the air holes on the other side, and ran some wicking over to the other side.

Hits really nice at only 34 watts. The resistance is about .67.

Nicely done KT. I've not done a split coil build. I'm a wrap and vape when it comes to building.

It was super easy. I just wrapped six coils, then kind of pulled the sixth coil "sideways" - then wrapped five more.

LOL, I actually mess up like this all the time anyway! (Having a jinky wrap somewhere in the coil). So this time it was just intentional.

I'm new to vaping, so I don't have a lot to compare it to, but this hits nice. It tastes full and flavorful, and with max VG, I am still getting good wicking. Time will tell.
