My first SS GGTS/UFS!!! Suddenly, I'm a NOOB AGAIN!

Woohoo!!! It's here! Finally!!!
I looks like it belongs in a museum. Just beautiful.

This is my first GG of any sort so please forgive my ignorance. I just opened my new SS GGTS and UFS. I sat down with it and opened up the wiki users manual to begin my education.

The manual shows a "brass telescope tube". (part #3 in the illustration) This tube is SS inside mine. Is this tube supposed to be brass?? Or is brass just an available option?

Also, I see Bruce has a stainless steel tube available. Is this the same exact thing, or a different length/diameter for some other battery combo? (Geez, I have so much to learn...)

I'm sure I'll have more questions. Thanks in advance for putting up w/ me.

Not supposed to be brass on the SSGGTS, yours is correct. And the tube that COV has is just a replacement tube, it's the same one as yours.

The brass tube is from a previous version that is no longer being produced, so if you find one, grab it!
All the telescopic tubes will be SS from now on, I believe..

I didn't make illustrations to show the different metals the GGTS was available in as it would have been redundant work. I do however, still need to make a couple of illustrations to show what is different between the "TMF", 2011 and SS Versions even though they are basically minor and cosmetic in nature.

Welcome Mal! I have been vaping for 18 months and find my SSGGTS/UFS combo to be THE PV for me. I just love the thing. I am finding myself posting less and less lately because of it I think. I still follow what is going on, but mostly just use my GG PV now. It's sad to see my other mods collecting dust... I have also been using the same LR510 in it for 4 weeks now. That is a record for me... not sure if it's the 100% PG or the fact that my UFS keeps it fed well. Occasionally here lately, I have went to vape and am like what the hay, what happened to the flavor... and low and behold the tank is empty (I have a SS window vice clear on it now) and have to go fill it. It has been a pleasure owning and using this PV setup! and it has made me rather lazy.

I hope you enjoy yours as much as I have enjoyed mine

I know what you mean, all my other mods are also not used. I just love my GG's
