Well I'm a Newbie so I have to ride your review of Tasty.

Geoff has been extremely helpful on both my orders to date.

First order:
a: tobacco/Menthol 48mg + bottle of 0mg to cut it. Ordered as 50/50 PG/VG (which used to be an option on his site - with the understanding that it would be as much VG as he could cram in)

Stock RN4081 - Taste is good and mentholy. Nice tobacco undertone.
5V usb mod RN4081 atomizer - Same - more throat hit - vape the 0mg during my long WOW games.

b: Apple Pie 12mg 50/50

Stock - Nice taste, smells a lot like apple pie. Lots of Caramel taste.
5V - Still get a lot of great apple pie, and a ton of vapor. More throat hit then the menthol.

Second order:

a: Apple pie 12mg 35%VG

Was much lighter in color then the last order (as in caramel color vs coors light color). Smells like a weaker version of the other. Sent pictures and email to Geoff tonight asking about this. Vape is ok but not as strong of a flavor.

b: Orange cream 12mg 35%VG

Stock - Nice flavor real mild - Decent vapor (fresh atomizer, so still breaking it in)
5V - Orange zest flavor pops out more then the vanilla. I think the Vanilla gets lost at the higher temp. Still good but very different then the 3V Less throat then either of the first order vapes.

c: Peach Melba 12mg 35%VG

Stock - Again a nice mellow flavor - kinda spicy - about the same throat hit as the orange - lots going on with the flavor.
5V - Peach - about the same throat hit as 3v apple pie from the first order. Seems to lose most of the flavor (except for the peach)

d: Clove 12mg 35%VG

Stock / 5V - Vapor monster! mild clove taste with a TON of really nice clove smell. Toss some Pineapple and Ham and it's Christmas dinner. No really, this one surprised the snot out of me. No throat hit to speak of. Was almost identical with either voltage.

e: Spiced Rum 12mg 35%VG

Stock - Mmmmm Bacardi. Taste is great till the atomizer gets warm. Definitely a slow and occasional vape for me. Feels like liquid rum in your mouth at the end of every draw. Spice mix for this and peach Melba taste similar, just a different undertone. See 5V for what my opinion of this is on a warm atomizer.
5V - Holy jets of hot rum smacking you in the face Batman. Too much for me. If you love rum... Can taste nothing else at this point.

All of these reviews were done on the same power devices, with fresh (cleaned or brand new) atomizers. I'll see how they all mellow as the atomizers break in. I prefer less throat hit so I ordered as much VG as I could get. I have more flavors to test, but my taste is burned out for now. (home office smells like cloves however). So far the only week taste / disappointment is the apple pie, for this order. I got it for a friend (placed a group order to save on shipping) and will be giving her my 2/3 full apple pie at a deep discount till I straighten out the new bottle.

If Geoff could make one improvement - I lost the cap for one of the free .5oz drip bottles from the last order. No complaint as it was free. I'm sure it got tossed with with the foam peanuts as the bottles are just floating around loose. I purchased 10 additional .5oz bottles this time, and it was a PIA to dig through all the peanuts for the caps that had come off. I would be willing to pay the extra $.25 (or whatever) to have the bottles put in a plastic baggie, instead of flung into the peanuts. It would really make my life as a customer much easier.

Thanks
Rusty
Johnson Creek, packages their little empty bottles in wrapped plastic. Ordering some flavors from them, read here, that they make good stuff, let you knows.

Just thought I would add a little tip for those vaping the cafe flavors. I added some of the Ecopure English toffee from cignot to my cafe mocha and it's soooo much better now. It really smoothed out the slightly chalky flavor that's inherent in chocolate flavors. Added bonus: The pure VG Ecopure adds a lot of vapor while retaining the TH :D

We have similar tastes. RY4 was awful IMO,but Peppermint,Butterfinger, and,AFB are at the top for me also. Have yet to try Spiced Rum,but will order that next based on your post. Thanks!

This was the first order of juices that I made about ~3 weeks ago. I ordered the Cafe Macchiato 20%VG, 36mil and the German Choc 10VG, 48mil. At the time, i did not have a lot of knowledge with using juices (just online reading here at the forum), and I was having difficulty with the carts I was using. I wanted to try juices and a lot of people recommended TV. I made the mistake of using his online help. He has zero patience with newbee's, or else he was in a very bad mood. I thought the German Choc was good though, I probably should have ordered it with less nicotine because it is very strong. Overall, they were both good flavors I thought, with a ton of vapor and were easy on the atomizer.

Ok I ordered last in January. I got AFB, Pralines and cream (so so to me your taste may vary), Blueberry cheese cake, and strawberry cheese cake.

All 12mg and 10% VG

I am looking for more throat hit and vapor.

Am I mixing wrong? Does increasing nicotine change anything other than head change?

Blueberry cheesecake is more blueberry than cheese cake. Strawberry cheesecake is the best of both worlds but I am burnt out on strawberry taste.

I am trying to culminate my next order. How should I do the AFB this time guys? I know I want more nicotine now that I slowed down on vaping.

A lot of you mention Pepermint. My Boyfriend has this and tons of throat hit. 12mg and 10% vg I am confused as to why it is so much? The flavor alone?

Any advise would be great.

What is the butterfinger throat hit like?
Thanks.

What is Geoff using for flavoring if not Loranns? The last I spoke with him, he said it was Lorranns and that wasn't that long ago.

What I gather from posts, the website, etc: Geoff uses Loranns for many of his flavorings. But, he also uses non-Loranns caramel and vanilla (and maybe dairy/creamy) flavors, as well as ethyl maltol and acetylpyrazine (two vape-safe flavor compounds for candy and buttery flavors) in some mixes. Plus he'll add real rum to some mixes (where he states it on the flavor's page on his website - like Spiced Rum, Dulce de Leche, Pina Colada, etc). I swear he must use other flavorings in some of his recipes, because the Blueberry Cheesecake has a definite graham-cracker crust, for instance. (From everything I can tell, he takes a lot of care with flavorings and is well-read on the safety issues -- no diacetyl, etc.)

Tinker -- some people do have poor experiences with DIY using only Loranns, myself included. TastyVapor's never given me that problem. Geoff knows how to tone down, mix or modify flavors to avoid the unpleasant tastes many of us get with DIY Loranns.

One suggestion I'd give to people ordering from TV for the first time is to stick with the "Premium" flavors. When you order a single-flavor from the "Custom"/mix-your-own menu, you're not really getting the full treat of the amazing recipes.
