Hi peeps. I first got a disposable in October. Since then I've gotten a hold of 808D-1, 401 clones, and a 510. I lent a 401 to a coworker and he has since gotten 808D-1, 401 clones, 510, and a 4081. I also picked up adapters to make everything work with everything plus 801s and 901s and I also picked up over a dozen different cartomizers.

I recently got into e-juice and the first big bottle I got was a Virginia Flue cured flavor. When I first used it, my shocking reaction was "THIS TASTES LIKE ...!".

Later on in the day, I lit up an American Spirit Full Flavor analog - and noticed that the taste was very similar to the Virgina Flue cured liquid. For some reason, in an analog, I expect this kind of toasted, burnt, and dirty taste - but when its in an e-cig - it tastes terrible. . .like ... (literally).

I have since gone on to get other e-liquids: Bubble Gum, Chocolate Caramel, Cappuccino, Spearmint, and Irish Cream.

I think my nicotine consumption has increased since I've started the e-cigs since I can vape almost anywhere albiet discretely. However, my body is acting like all those times when I've quit analogs for a couple months. I can breath better, I don't hack in morning, and I have more energy. I have cut down from 5 packs a week to 2 or less analogs per day.

I'm not posting any reviews yet because I don't think I'm experienced enough yet, plus ECF won't let me until my post number gets above 5. This is post #2.

Hi
ive been on e sigs for about 4 months now , feeling a lot better and more money in my pocket .
Ive tested all kinds of stuff over the last few months . Im now useing a giantomizer V2 , holds 3mil and last most of the day .
Order mostly online but the shops over here in Germany are slowly starting up with the e-sig stuff, online is still the cheapest way to go.
Has anybody info about the eGo-c from joytec ?
I normaly mix my own juice with some kind of fruit and tabaco tast about 50/50 , i find tabaco on its own tastes like .... on a stick.
This site realy has all the info that anyone needs , keep up the good work.

I'm pretty new myself, but hopefully my experiences will help.

I only tried a couple of tobacco flavors and hated them both. I was surprised to find that I really enjoyed sweet fruit flavors, because conceptually that idea just seemed off to me. I would have NEVER tried a fruit-flavored cigarette. Good juice though seems like the most important thing in a e-cig setup. Find a juice you really like and it gets easier to avoid the cigarettes.

I've had the opposite reaction to nicotine. I get juice with around 16-18mg nicotine (depending on the vendor) and that usually works for me. But sometimes I find myself getting headaches and I think its from too much nicotine. So that's when I switch to one of several sample flavors I have at 10-12mg nicotine for awhile.

I've also read that its easier to reduce the nicotine concentration than to raise it, since all you do is add pg/vg to your juice to reduce it. So you might try getting a higher concentration of nicotine and some pure pg or vg and thinning it out if it turns out to be too much.

Keep in mind though, that without the ammonia and other junk in the cigarettes, the nicotine you're getting takes longer to affect you, and is coming in slower. I read that, especially when you start out, it takes more drags of vapor to = the amount of nicotine you get from a single cigarette. But the flip side is once you're used to the nicotine delivery of vapor, its easier to go longer without it. I still find myself almost constantly dragging on my e-cig if I'm at home or when its slow at work, to ward off the cravings - and also because the juice tastes so good. And I find that it takes a good 10+ minutes of dedicated vaping to ward off a strong craving for a cigarette (especially after eating).

Welcome , but I don't personally know what ... is supposed to taste like , and not sure I want to know . That being said , try a lower voltage ( if possible ) , and use SR atomizers rather than LR . And by all means , try a lower % nic . juice .
Also keep in mind that a lot of the fresh made juices , need to steep for a few weeks before their worth vaping . I thought BWB RY4 was horrible at first , then I let it steep for a month , and then it was fantastic . So good luck on your hunt for juices , but try to stay away from those asses .

I just signed up for the forum as well. Both my daughters use e-cigs, and they are asking me to try so I can quit smoking. I don't know if I can quit totally though. I'm willing to do it even if it only cuts me in half. Not me, though. My smoking. lol. I like menthols a lot (I smoke Virginia Slim Menthol) and I keep hearing that it's hard to find a good one. I have a lot of research to do before I figure out what's best for me to try.

You'd be surprised at the amount of "accidental quitters" you'll find here on the forums! But take it easy and don't be discouraged if you hit a rough patch. I like to think of it as being more about the cigs you don't smoke, as opposed to the number you do. Most people will slip at some point (or be sorely tempted ) because of dissatisfaction with juice or equipment or breaking the cardinal rule of vaping1, but the folks here can help you with advice and encouragement to keep you on track.

---------
1The cardinal rule of vaping: "Backups, backups, and more backups!" Murphy's law says if you only have two atomizers one will clog and the other one will die as soon as you change to it.

I love the candy, food, and fruit flavors. I don't need to try anything else. I'm going through this phase of ordering lots of little bottles from different places. So far, none have really disappointed me - but nothing is like WOW that's awesome.

... tastes like being in a room where someone broke wind real bad - where it smells so strongly that you taste it a little. This happens with food smells too.

The Virginia Flue cure does literally taste a little like ....

Hi all
So what are you paying for juice in the USA ?
and what would a eGo-T set cost ?
In Germany 10mil juice cost about €6 and a eGo-T about €89 .
e ciggs are just starting to pick up over here , but ive only realy found stuff from joytec and not much eles.
More and more people at my work are starting with e ciggs , so we order together online to keep the costs down.
But we are still baned from useing them and have to go to the smoking corner, realy sucks.

That is great advice from oldsoldier! My advice is that you look for flavors you enjoy. Don't try to find one that tastes like an analog. When you want the taste of an analog, only an analog will really give it to you. Here's what happens:

1. You find flavors you like, maybe it's a tobacco blend, or maybe it's strawberry shortcake.
2. You slowly start to vape more and smoke less. Every cigarette you don't smoke is a victory!
3. Eventually you will find that you went a week without an analog, you decide to go out in the rain and smoke one.
4. You light up and find the flavor disgusting!

Congratulations, you just quit smoking without even trying!
The amount of time it takes for this transition varies, but don't beat yourself up over it. The key here is to focus on making vaping a more pleasurable experience than smoking. Some folks also supplement with snus or whole tobacco alkaloid ejuice to stay off the ciggies, but you can also just smoke when vaping isn't quite doing it for you.

At 60 yrs the saddest posts I read are those from sons and daughters pleading "How can I get my parents to quit"- absolutely heartbreaking, for me at least. NO pressure but Ecigs have given me a new lease on life and it was so much easier than anything else I had tried. I wish you the best of luck and hope that can can experience the new life we have come to know. Kudos to your kids as they are doing this out of love.
Good Luck, Vapoor.
