I followed Subabatdan's guideline and mixed up 10ml.
For flavors I used blackberry and cotton candy.
The tobacco includes the ichor and the malto.
The PGA is 195proof moonshine.

I have some questions. The taste is very good, there is an excellent quantity of vapor and throat kick. However the throatkick has a slight quality of harshness to it. Nothing overwhelming but quite noticable, the stock prefilled mlbo catridges never had this. Is this a component of the moonshine i used? It was the only PGA I had. Potato instead of sugarcane. Should I be concerned with that, or is it normal. The feeling in the throat last about 5 or 10 seconds and fades, not unlike a cigar or pipe.

Secondly. I see in the guidelines that Dans recipe calls for equal amounts of absolute mix and ethyl malto mix. can these just be mixed and stored in the same bottle? As I dont trust the moonshine in plastic I wanted to put it in glass, but only have one open bottle at the moment.

I have actually gone to mixing them in the same bottle for ease of use. 2 drops tobacco absolute, 1/4 teaspoon ethyl maltol, 10ml of everclear in a 10ml bottle. Comes out a yellow looking liquid. The crystals disolve fairly quickly in PGA. I use 1 drop per 10ml and I do not think there is enough everclear to produce the bite you are talking about. Could be the PG you are using. try adding 10 drops to a drop to 1ml of a manufactures liquid and see if the same results happen.

I bought all the ingredients to make Tobacco Absolute. I don't know what I did wrong but it didn's turn out very good.

Try my above steps and add 10 drops of lorann caramel to the 10ml mix, it gives it a excellent untertone to the tobacco and mixes quite well.

going to have to think about this math i think.. you say here you use 1 drop of what is essentially double strength of the recipe i found here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...0-tobacco-flavored-flavorings.html#post596825

but there you have using 40 drops, or 20 of this mix. I may be confused :D

I have started suggesting 10 drops and as it is not too strong that way, then the user can add to taste. You can always add to but not take away. Hence the discrepancy. Also I have found I dont need as much flavoring now that the tastebuds have returned.
