Well .... I went to my first vaping convention today in Chattanooga. I didn't know until the last minute (today at 1:00) so I was very excited as I am about 45 minutes away.... so I got ready as quickly as possible and headed north. I didn't really know what to expect....I know its Sunday and the last day so I figured it would be slow - happily it wasn't. When you opened the door to go into the large conference room a thick vape cloud huvered over spilling out the door so there was no doubt I was in the right place.
I quickly found my favorite company MBV to see what maybe new - nothing I haven't seen already online and they were busy so I moved on to try all the hundreds of vendors!
Found a few vapes that were OK .... found some that I have wanted to try but didn't want to order online just to waste the money as they might wind up in the "box of shame"
It was really cool - to walk around and see all these vendors in one room. To be able to walk up to each table and try several things from their line of liquids was pretty awesome.
I came home with several 10 and 15 ml free samples - purchased a few at unbelievable prices - and to top it all off.....bought a Itaste SVD starter kit 2 tanks, 7 coils (2 in the kit and a free box) with a free 18650 / 2200mah battery, large back pack tote bag ..... for $40!! all I need now is the charger (and I ordered it when I got home) I'm one happy vaporer
So ..... I said all that to say - if you have a chance and a vape convention comes close it's well worth the drive.:vapor:.....I felt like a kid at Christmas!!

katwb, there were even more vapers on Sat. :) Did you get a chance to meet Phil Busardo, Dimitris "The Vapin Greek" or Matt Bradley of the Deadliest Catch? They were all there and more, Vapor Joe and George Xia, the head of U.S. operations for Innokin plus some movers and shakers of the vaping world who are trying to keep the FDA from banning our new found love.

So glad your first "convention" was a fun one. Check out Scenic City Vapers Club on Facebook. We usually have a local "meet" every 3 mos. now that they have gotten so large (400-600 people and a dozen local vendors). Free to get in and free stuff and raffles for great vaping gear. It's how I got my first ProVari and my first "meet"! Hopefully, we'll have another convention next year. :)

No .... I didn't know about it till mid-day Sunday ..... I would love to have came Saturday! Everyone seemed tired - you could feel some of the vendors were clock watching - but it was still a lot of fun!
Yes!! I am heading to my Facebook page now! I would love to connect with others .... since I moved to North Georgia I haven't found anything to keep me busy - or even good friends to hang out with - so this would be awesome!
