My First Vaping kit :)

Hello every one!!!

My alias is named after the famous early Egyptian polymath (Imhotep) and unlike many think, I am not declaring that I'm HOT.

With that out of the way, let me continue with my first post here at ECF.

After wasting my time with a couple of brands of simple e-cigs (I'm not naming them because I don't want to give them any publicity, albeit negative), I am a proud owner of my very first vaping kit (Idk if it qualifies to be called a "mod" yet).

I bought a Vision Spinner and a Vision Victory (5ml BCC) with some spare EVOD atomizers.

I guess it wouldn't be legit if I didn't jump into the DIY band wagon, so I got myself some 100 mg Nic, PG/VG and some flavors.

I have plenty of empty Amber glass bottles in all shapes and sizes (thanks to homeopathic medicines) and lot of syringes (thanks to my 2 year old son).

Soon after I received my shipment today, I dove head first and my satisfaction is overwhelming.

Thank you to all the support forum participants, vlogers and blogers, etc. Your help was very valuable to get me started.

actually, you might actually discover that most would consider a brand new vaper to be reckless just diving in to DIY.

100 mg nic is kinda dangerous

It's the l337sPeEk. When I read your post I was like "What ..... would think that?", but then I saw your actual username and written like that, even I saw "I'm hot, ep" right after consciously reading you post and seeing "Imhotep".

Have FUN ! Wear GLOVES, PLEASE. I find, a good practice is to get the Nicotine into your bottles first, then close the main bottle and put it AWAY. That way, the potential for any spill of it is reduced 100 mg nic absorbs into the skin quickly so DO wear those gloves. Also, be careful to get your nic measurements correct . You don't want to over nic yourself quickly. Those are the dangers we speak of, k? Watch YouTube on begginners mixing and read here in the forums . Have a BLAST! Safety first though

Thanks for the concerns. I did my HW and got a corner of my garage stocked up with safety glasses, gloves, masks and alot of paper towels.

My first order of business was to dilute the 100mg to 24mg. I bought that concentration because of the price (ecigexpress). The diluted mix is distributed in 30 ml to 90 ml bottles, then placed in zip lock bags and then in a sealed tupperware. I then placed it in the freezer. Hopefully it won't go bad.

The first flavor I tried was Stagleaf from flavorwest. Its pretty interesting so far. Hints of different flavors. But I haven't tried a lot of flavors yet so I'll definitely keep looking.

I have a lot of food flavorings in the kitchen, I'm going to give them a try too in the near future. I wonder what cardamom would taste like vaping.
