Now that I read that, it isn't very clear. So, the Evic has a separate 18650(?) battery, but will charge it when you plug it in. Normally, in other mods, you would have to recharge 18*** batteries in a separate charger, but you can plug the evic in with the battery and it will charge.

Yes, you're charging the battery with the usb, and the eVic is drawing from the battery, so really a semi-passthru.

You can charge the battery in the eVic. That is one positive aspect for new mod users. You don't have to buy a separate battery charger. Although, I don't think it is pass through, so when you charge the battery with the Evic, you can't puff on it.

Personally, I'd go with an eVic. It has more growing room. I have the old innokin VV and I never use it now that I have a zmax.

You can charge and vape at the same time. Not a true passthru as you are charging the batteries, which are powering the device, but you can do both at the same time.

I agree with a lot of the advice given already. Since moving to strictly mods.. I haven't looked back! You simply swap the battery in a multi-charger when needed and you are good to go. Owning a Lambo, ZMax, eVic and 2 ProVari's, I would never want to hassle with tethering my device again. Just what's suits my needs though. IMO, the eVic is probably going to be a sure shot in a case like this, and can also veer you into running on a multi-charger if the need or want ever comes. Great features on the eVic as well. Good luck mate!

I am enjoying both of them! The evic is great lots of stuff to play with on it! The inokin is awesome too got to take it with me to the races and it performed flawlessly! Im really enjoying the iClear 16's that came with it to best wick tank I have used by far!

Thanks for the help folks!
