MFS has 1 liter bottles of 100 mg nicotine for $45.00. Terrific price, but I need to hear from someone who has bought this 'on sale' nicotine, to see what the quality is like and if they were satisfied with it.

Many have said MFS packages their nicotine in amber glass bottles, but the ad for the nicotine they have on sale says: "May be shipped in 1-Liter HDPE Plastic Bottles...". I'd like to know what the 'on sale' nicotine was shipped in, so I know whether to buy some amber glass bottles to store it in.

Thanks for the help, Mark

Received an MFS liter last month. I didn't see where to upgrade the bottle to glass, so I ordered one of the amber glass liter bottles (I know another $4 but I can use it for future orders) and it arrived in the same package.
I transferred the nic to the amber bottle for freezer storage, and a 120 ml for playing with recipes.
I am quite happy with the nic ... it is near colorless and has that faint earthy smell most strong nics have, but I have not noticed it interfering with tastes of my juice recipes and provides a very good throat hit.
I say buy with confidence, but keep aware, it is 100mg so the usual precautions are even more important when you are mixing.

Opinions vary widely with nicotine. And taste is subjective. My best suggestion is to try as many brands of nic as you can before buying a huge quantity. I have seen some slanderous talk in these ECF forums regarding nicotine and it's a shame. And being judged by what brands we choose to enjoy is not what ECF should be about.

I enjoy MFS VG nic immensely. It has everything I look for and nothing I don't. {great TH, clear in color, tastes delicious} But why take MY word for it? :)

I went ahead with an order. I also got some glass bottles for storage; pricing on them is really good compared to what I'm seeing on eBay, etc. so I figured, at the price I'm getting the nicotine for, why not?

Looking forward to making up some e liquid of my own (using every safety precaution as outlined here on the e-cigarette forum site, as well as using the eJuice Me Up calculator). I'm still researching flavorings, (started a thread here) so I'm still a ways off from vaping something I made myself, but I'm in no hurry- IMHO better to "measure twice and cut once".

My MFS order arrived yesterday via FedEx- only took 32 hours! Ordered 4 AM 9-30, received it noon 10-1!! IMHO pretty darned good considering I also got glass and plastic bottles and a few other items- and shipping was reasonable at $6.65.

More importantly, the quality of the nicotine is first-rate. It has absolutely no odor and is crystal clear. I don't see how it could be any better, and at $45.00/liter, there's nowhere it can be found cheaper at that quantity.

Mine arrived today. I transferred it over to glass bottles. It is crystal clear...no odor at all that I could detect although I transferred it in front of an open window with a fan blowing behind me to insure that if there were any fumes from it they would be blown away from me and out the window.

... did I totally ruin it by freezing it in plastic?
I don't think so. It will not keep as well that way because the plastic is more permeable to air, but the difference is not that huge, so if you will not use it in a few months, split it into glass bottles the next time you will use some of it. You could maybe put it into a large ziploc bag or two in the meantime. I like to keep an extra layer or two around it if it will be stored near food anyway.

I got mine yesterday, was he 3rd purchase from them (well, for nic.. ). I picked up 2 of these Amber storage bottles size 120 mL, amber glass, PTFE/silicone septum, O.D. × H 49 mm × 114 mm, pkg of 12 ea, thread 22-400 | Sigma-Aldrich for a total of 24 bottles to store the nic in, and I then put 4 bottles in a zip-lock to freeze. The pierceable caps for me are great, I use a syringe with a sharp needle (slight learning curve to use them) but I never worry about spills or contamination when making smaller batches. I know it's personal preference and all, but I do find MFS to be better than others I have used. It's always crystal clear, and has very little odor.... makes me wonder why others nic solution is tinted to be honest.

HDPE is a recommended liquid container. No leaching like PE plastics.
In Freezer everything is slowed down - including Air infiltration.
I leave my WL orders as received in bubble wrap/plastic and all in the freezer until time to open. Never had any problems with Plastic.
Amber is good............for fighting UV. If you have a Light problem in the Freezer, remove the bulb.

This may be a silly question but led lights are safe, right?
