I know others have done this tank mod before, but I think I have come up with a new way of sealing that deserves mention:

I started out with a CE2 Clearomizer XL, cut 3 slits in it with the good old dremel, mounted it (clear tube and all) into MV's .5 oz bottle with top. Then (and here's the new idea): I took a lo-temp glue stick and cut tiny pieces off of it, filling the bottom of the tube to about 1/4" depth.

Next I put the whole thing fully assembled (including top, drip tip, and all) in the oven and cooked at about 200 deg until the glue stick melted into a puddle in the bottom, holding everything together. Remove from oven, let reach room temp, Bob's your uncle!

The way I figure it, it's kind of a waste to try and make the guts replaceable when the tube and cap only costs 59 cents. Might as well just consider it part of the CE2 and chuck it when it burns out. Well, that's my 2 cents (or rather 59 cents).

Hot glue is supposed to be non-toxic and it sure makes a good seal!

Filled it about 1/2 way with cherry pipe juice, and gave it a trial run. So far so good :)

I know I got this original idea on a forum somewhere, darned if I can find it, sorry.

Man, it's as big as my boxmod!

You sure that some juice wont leach that glue ? I'm not sure I would want to vape a cinn or orange oil or a malic acid that is in some juice out of that tank, just saying man, might wanna check on this, just a thought

The glue stick package says it is certified non-toxic and is approved for incidental contact with food. The only possible hazard is possible skin burns while using the glue gun. It is supposedly completely cured then cool clear thru (about 30 minutes).

Many aquarium owners use it when building under-water rock displays, etc. That being said, I am not a chemist, if someone know of any reason why it could not be used please let me know, I would rather toss it than take a chance.

OK asnidder123, but do you have a list of materials that make up the glue, does it say on the bottle of the glue sticks, ( just curious what the make up of the glue is ), rocks in aquariums are one thing incidental food contact is another but vaping juice that glue has leached into is another thing to me, it's just a touchy subject about some juices touching and sitting in that glue that kind of bothered me when I saw what you did as to with the glue that made me think about this. The Mods you make are cool, funny, and at the least very interesting, I look for your new one of the day all the time:2cool: was just looking out for ya man
