Got my Halo G6 a couple weeks ago. For perspective, I started out with a 510 and changed over to an ego a couple months ago. I was never able to get on the carto bandwagon because to me they all tasted bad compared to a plain old 510 atty/cart.
So far I like this thing. The ego size always bothered me, just too big and un-ciggy like. The G6 is a good compromise for me that's decidedly larger than a 510 but still keeps the analog form factor.
Its worth mentioning that I am an extremely light vaper, and so is my wife. I vape maybe 5 times a day and about 10 puffs each time, of 6mg juice, so my experience with small pvs may differ from somebody polishing off a 5 mg bottle every day.
Anyway, back to the G6. I wanted to try it mainly for the Halo pre-filled carts, but that was a bit of a bust. For reasons I can't explain prefilled cartos just don't taste quite right to me. For whatever reason they seem to taste better and better as they are refilled. Right now I am still on the same carto 2 weeks later.
I usually fill with the condom method approximately once a day and depending on how often I do it I am putting in maybe 1/3 of a ml. The nice thing about the condom method is I keep adding more until the liquid slushes to the top. All I need to do then is blow off an excess drop or two no need to wait. Its messier and more wasteful than just dripping it in the top but its the only way I instantly know for certain its saturated.
For vapor and taste, it doesn't quite match my ego with a 510 atty and a cart. They are both a little subdued compared to the massive ego battery but that is to be expected.
One odd thing I have noticed about G6 batteries. Mine seem to loose power and sometimes blink (if you are looking) a while before they stop working entirely. So when the flavor drops off sometimes its hard to tell if you are low on juice or charge - because the battery keeps working a while even after its really not working well.
Overall, I am really satisfied with the G6. Its a good compromise size. I like the cartos better than SR 510 or Boge. The huge carto cap can be popped off for filling easier than other designs I have tried and the G6 actually came with an instruction manual that would be useful for a newb.
Halo continues to impress me with their juices and offerings. My wife is not as patient or attentive to detail as I am, and she loves it too (about 4 weeks so far and still on the first carto also).
