They sent out a questionnaire with about 12 questions concerning whether or not I'm a smoker (I smoked 2 1/2 packs a day times about 20 years up until I began vaping in August); whether I allow others to smoke in my apartment; whether I care if others smoke; and, finally, would I give a 30-day notice and move IF the building became a non-smoking building.
I answered these questions in the frame of mind of being a non-smoker who doesn't mind if others smoke.
Now, the building management knows I used to smoke cigarettes and knows I have switched to vaping,
However, I don't know if they realize the difference. They are not the brightest crayons in the box, if you know what I mean.
I am concerned that they will not realize the difference, will make the building non-smoking and will attempt to stop the few of us who vape from being allowed our enjoyment. I do not want to go back to cigarettes as I have had many positive health-related changes since I switched to my vaping.
I do not want to move, as I am on full-disability and it was difficult enough to get into THIS HUD building.
Any suggestions. Thanks in advance. I am new to the whole forum and appreciate any and all advice.
