When he was 12. His dad helped him refine it and they eventually came up with a playable hand made prototype (that looks really good), copyrighted it, play-tested it about 150,000 and then tried to get it published. That is where they ran into trouble. It's not that they didn't like it. They had other lame complaints like the material it was made of... HELLO prototype.... anyway they kinda gave up. Oh and btw they made really loosly cheep rip off and sold those... and still do.
Fast forward... its years latter, everyone that comes in contact with the game LOVES it. I love it. It's my favorite board game of all time. His friends and family still make there own playable versions. We have always wanted to self publish. And recently we found a great way to fund raise.
