It's so pretty..

I've got batts charging so in the mean time, I'd make sure my 808 cartomizers fit. Well, it seems some do and some don't.

Are the cartos supposed to go all the way down to the hole, or cover the hole?

I've tried cartos I purchased from PS and cool carts from V4L. Both have varying degrees of fit, if that makes sense.

And shucks, how long do these batts take to charge? I cannot wait to try this baby out!!

The varying degrees of fit is normal. Unfortunately, the manufacturing specs can vary among 808 cartos even within the same batch, much less from different suppliers. The cartos don't go all the way down; a gap is normal. If you have trouble making one go far enough to fire, just gradually work it down. Turn it until you feel resistance and give it another quarter turn. Then remove and repeat. It shouldn't take long to open up the threads on the carto.
