my idea for vaping

Hey everyone,
had a couple of ideas that I want to try and thought I would see what other people thought of them.
I am thinking about going to local bars and seeing if they would help to promote ecigs. doing stuff like having a weekend where I would do demos and things like that. let people see and try the e cig. I run into people all the time who are interested in them and I think if there were a central place that people could try them. Or at least an event I am thinking about buying a bunch of disposable e cigs to sell. and also a bunch of tips for my joye 510 to let people try those as well. maybe sell the tips for cost and since I have several flavors give them a chance to try them out. I think its important to strike now and get people to experience e cigs. It should help them become more commonplace and open up a whole new segment of the population

I think your idea is great. And it's a good public service! Just go for it, because if I was one of those smokers in a bar where you came in and demo'd the ecig, I'd love you for it forever! So make yourself memorable, and them non-smokers!

I guess that would work in states with smoking bars, but here in Oregon it's been non-smoking everywhere pretty much besides a few square yards in your backyard if you are lucky to have one big enough to meet the requirements.

Doh! I also meant to add that is a great idea, really!

Just all the smokers don't go to bars here anymore so there is hardly anyone to convert.

I think that's a great idea. I'd go for it. Hey if you have the money to front the cost of disposable units and carts that's great! More power to ya! I wish more people would do stuff like that.

I really appriciate all the feedback from people and I will make sure to keep everyone posted on how things are going with it. I ordered the supplies so I will hopefully get to try it out this weekend. if anyone has anything else they might try let me know

Not a bad idea....my only thought would be to make sure you do your research first so you can enlighten them accurately and prepare your defenses.

I think that is a TERRIFIC idea! I know if I was there when you gave a demo, I would have made the switch! It is amazing how many people have never even heard of an e-cig! Go for it and let us know what happens. Good Luck!
