After a frustrating time with eBay trying to sell my old e-cig stuff I was able to find tvn auction to sell my stuff. I hadnt heard of them before but they turned out to be very nice and helpful site, Its more then just a auction site they have links to reviewer videos and are starting a forum to help new e-cig users. eBay gave me some crap about e-cig stuff being a tobacco product! that makes sense (NOT).. just thought i would let people know about this site in case you to have had a bad eBay experience to. I know that tvn is still adding things to there site, I think tvn stands for The vaping Nation auction. This is my first time with a forum hope I am doing it OK.

I was thinking that you could sell the equipment, just no nicotine or tobacco. I've seen auctions for batteries & set-ups where the seller states "There is no nicotine or eliquid in the auction" or something along those lines.

According to their policy (found under tobacco) e cigs are not allowed:

Tobacco policy

It's understandable that e liquid with nicotine isn't allowed, although nicotine patches and gum are. And of course ebay always has their double standard going on, somethings are allowed for some sellers, not for others. There's plenty of auctions going on for e cigs, equipment, set ups and even juice.

(Yes, I am one of those sellers who gets caught selling things that thousands of others sell every day without punishment. My auctions get ended and I get a slap, while others continue to sell and sell the same thing. BTW, I'm one of the top rated sellers, so my feedback is great. And no, I don't sell ecig stuff. Sorry about the rant....)

It's just easier to become verified here.
There are several reasons why - people understand what they are buying, it's about as safe environment that you can have while dealing one on one with other people you don't know, it's free and your listing will not be closed randomly.

Only thing I would say (for buyers) is that prices tend to be only a few points below retail for some higher end stuff - but that is a good thing for a seller :vapor:

Interesting. I had trouble with Ebay too. They let me list things but then canceled the listing when it didn't make it past their watchful eyes. If you notice you can find some listings on there for about a day and then they vanish.
I saw tvnauction about 2 months ago. Seems like a pretty good site! I like the direction it's headed especially the free store setups. I may just start my own little side business!
