My Igo is driving me crazy!! Help!!

I was so pleased with this thing when I first had it - maybe for the first month or so. Now I have cartos burning on me right and left. It happens on batteries right after they come off of the charger, suddenly 3 or 4 perfectly fine carts are fried. The carts are full - believe me. I've pulled a bunch of them apart and the filler is soaking but the little wick wrapped in the coil at the bottom is black. They are lasting maybe 4 or 5 days tops if that (and I swap out between 4 of them).

I'm so irritated I'm thinking of trying to find another device. The seller thinks I'm letting cartos dry out. I think maybe the batteries are somehow overcharging and shorting out the coils? Or possibly I got a few shipments of bad carts and should try another vendor?

I really liked the Igo because of the large fill capacity, the manual button, the "no fuss" aspect and the long lasting batteries. I have an Echo as well but much prefer the manual.

Suggestions? I'm about to buy a bunch of new carts but I don't really want to spend the $$ if I should just get another device! I also have a limited budget for a new device (under $50) so I can't splurge on a Provari or somesuch...also not interested in box mods.

Test your battery. How old is it? What brand is it? Have you tried a different kind of cartomizer yet? A 5 pack of cartomizers will last me one month under heavy vaping conditions on my JoyeTech ego batteries that are over a year old. This sounds like a bad batch of cartomizers or a bad battery for sure.

They're Igo batts - not sure who makes them. I don't have any way to test them. Both of them are doing it and I got the kit 2 months ago. Haven't tried other carts yet - was thinking about getting some fluxomizers but, again, not too eager to spend the $$ if I should be looking for a new device!

I dont use carts but i would try another vendor to see if it makes a difference also did you change you e-liquid to an all vg ?

I don't use all vg because it is so thick but I think I have some Ave samples somewhere. I put in a msg to Nhaler who also sells Igos to see if he has any suggestions and I'm going to probably try a couple packs of his Igo carts to see if maybe the vendor I use just got a bad shipment. For the first month I never had this problem!

Well I collapsed under the frustration after frying another cart on this damn thing and ordered the MadVapes 510 Ego Mega Dual Coil Cartomizer Kit. I'm crossing my fingers but I think it will do the trick (manual batt & huge carts which people seem to like).
