If you really don't care about how your e-cig looks, and you really want long battery life... have you looked at mods? A good mechanical mod like SuperT's Precise, or one of the GG line will last you a very long time, look pretty stylish (but nothing like a regular e-cig), and the ones using an 18650 battery will last you a minimum of two days between charges.

I don't think I completely understand the mods. Are these kits I can buy from online stores? Or are they something I buy from a modder on here? Can I do the mods myself? Or would that just be headache and heartache waiting to happen?

Yes, that's certainly true of the Chinese proprietary types. There's really just a handful of basic models that have been cloned, pirated and rebranded shamelessly. Last I counted, the were at least a dozen reincarnations of the eGo/Riva under any number of catchy names.
Alright, just an update. I ended up going with the Hello 016 from Electronic Cigarette Kits And Parts and am SOOO HAPPY! I love the long battery life! Now if only I could keep all my stuff from being stolen...
The Hello is a good choice; it was the first to have a really huge mAh rating, north of 1000.
The only drawback to them is you're forced into using their proprietary atomizer/cone combination, or doing without the cone—not a good option if leakage is an issue.

Lol, no. It got stolen off the bus. That's what I get for keeping my goodies in a Polar heart rate moniter carrying case. They probably saw it and thought it was an easy couple hundred bucks. *sigh*
