I've bought precisely 2 mods since August of 2013. The second mod I bought only because my vape style had changed and the first just wasn't powerful enough anymore.

Not all of us are afflicted with shinyitis.

But only because you're "Completely Average" lol !

Dave, I think your progression has been a very good one, especially compared to some people..... Also, even though we are all common in our desire to vape, we all have mild differences in what we like to vape with and in how we vape...... For example, you mentioned how 12 MG nic was too strong for you at the higher wattage. But, someone like myself would not be bothered by that as I quite frequently will mix up a strong batch of juice (16MG) and vape it at about 40 watts or so........I loved large amounts of nicotine even in the days that I smoked and back then I was always trying to find stronger tobacco. I couldn't get enough nicotine and harshness.......... But with that said, just like yourself, I too messed up and started with WAY too much nicotine. I started at 36MG and it just about put me on my backside the first time I tried it.......... So, I know exactly what you mean.......... But, I suppose it takes more nic to put me down than it does for lots of folks. and this is why I can run high wattage devices and a fairly high nic level.

Anyway, I am super glad that you have managed to stay off of the death sticks brother! :)

I have only been vaping for a little over two weeks now and I have a decent setup (a Subox mini) but every time I come across a new tank (like the Triton) or a nice mech mod, my wallet starts quivering. I have held off so far but I know it is only a matter of time until I get a drip mod.

Yep, that seems to be what many folks here are like.... It's seems almost like hording but only hording vape related products. I have only been bitten by the bug slightly and so I haven't really developed the craving to purchase new gear like lots of folks here have. (knock on wood) But I may fall victim to it at any time and so I hesitate to say that I will "never" buy more stuff because, who knows, I may. :)

My problem is I want 20 tanks to go with all the different flavors so I don't have to wait until I have an empty tank to try it. However, I'm getting better...
I'm almost there. Including the tanks that are in transit to me, I have 16, although I really only use 6 right now.

    I have shinyitis too.
I always read reviews before my purchase but it is super subjective as not everyone likes the same things right...
Glad your wife and kiddos support you! Very cool!

My dog bit yer father's hand.
    I'm so sorry.
