My itaste VV power - Question

So... this could be a really stupid question but I am going to throw it out there.

I know this does not make much of a difference at such low watts/volts but I noticed the math is off.

Watts = Volts * Volts/Ohms
Amps = Volts/Ohms

My unit currently reads - 8Watts, 3.8Volts and 1.8Ohms
It Should read 7.2Watts, 3.79Volts

The voltage difference is minor but is it normal for the watts to be that far off?

The voltage indicated on the screen is your last setting for voltage and is not a product of, nor does it correlate to, the last wattage setting or the resistance value. In other words, what you see on the screen is not representative of an OL formula... only your last set value.

wow - how funny - Purely by chance I am vaping right now using my MVP 2 + Magma rda with coil at 1.8 ohms, 8 watts(my setting) and it reads 3.7 volts.

Can't speculate on algorithm used and how they rounded up values for the display. Setting volts versus setting wattage does also vary the readout results.

In my case with 1.8 ohms and 8 watts determined by me - MVP2 displays 3.7 volts. Which correlates correctly to 8 watts power (7.6055555 rounded up to 8 watts).

Are you switching back and forth between modes? If so, what State O' Flux said. If you're in VW mode and you're getting the voltage by pushing both buttons down, that's the voltage left in the battery and not the output voltage.
