I just received a new cana mod dna clone today and have a question. This is my first dna type board and I understand that it does not output or regulate at less than 4 volts. However I have put a few different builds on it tonight ranging from .7 to 2.3 ohms, currently at 1.4 ohms, and the ohms reading seems to flash on all of these unless the volt reading is at 4.5, not 4.0. Is this normal for this board? Are my watts still too low even if screen says 4.0 volts?
thanks

Well logically it could only be a few things
- as stated, it only regulates above 4.5
-it is regulating at 4, it just displays incorrectly
-it isn't regulating at all or at some unknown rating

Under any circumstance it isn't working as it should and should be exchanged. Better yet, if you can get a refund I would recommend a Yihi based mod over any of the evolv type clones.

The yihi chipsets are far more accurate and reliable. The new IPV mini can be had for about 60usd (due to holiday sales, sometimes much less.) The current models actually regulate down to 3.6v, which makes them far more versatile in their application.
