Wood, we all were there!...or we would not be here lol...honestly though when i found a unit that gave me hassle free use and great vapor with juice that had good TH well the cigs were an expensive inconveniance!!
i have a lot of fav flavors now but it was Canadian blend Menthol that got me off the cigs!...full 24 baby!....I needed it again at the 3ish week mark when my tounge repaved it's self lol ...it was the only thing that scratched the itch!

now I am into Banana and Kevofar's junk juice with a side of ecto cooler and even hit the apple tobacco from time to time I am heavy into DIY and I keep changing stuff up to keep it new and fun!

we are here if you need a hand my friend as you are for us!! thats what ECF is all about right?

welcome!...you picked a great spot to learn, I know I have in the past 2 months that my wife and I have been smoke free!
I like the larger juice holding of clearomizers (stardust) and tanks like the ViVi Nova ....I also love the variable voltage mods
that allow me to custome tune for the amount of vapor and taste that I like or feel I need to scratch my 23 year cigg habit
that is no more!

This is the Kind of thing i like to hear. Ive been smoking 26 years and after 2 years of trying i think ecigs has all the elements i have needed to quit smoking. Gum and patches had the nicotine but nothing to hold, Nicorette inhalers had something to hold like a cigarette and the nicotine but missing the visual impact of actually exhaling smoke. Ecigs give me all three markers a "smoke" , nicotine and something to hold.

The big test will be this weekend. I'm going to do one of my big chain smoking trigger hobbies. I'm sticking around home, sitting in my home office/gaming room and going to play some Pc video games for more then i should admit # of hours,lol. When gaming and having a cup of coffee or a few drinks i light cigarettes like a fiend. If i can do this with out lighting a smoke and just getting my "fix" off my ecig...I know i won't have any issues not looking at analogs as a viable choice again.

I can say the starter kit i ordered so far has been quite easy to use and I am enjoying it thoroughly. The change in taste and slightly less "bite" the inhale has is something i must adjust to but i haven't started trying different flavours yet. I can see myself down the road wanting a slightly better PV that creates a bit more vapour and easier cartridge system. The carts they use in the unit i got (i think a 401) refilling them is a little tedious.

A question though . I would like to try the other juice i got. Im trying the Jokesmoke right now and would like to try the RY-4. Joke smoke is a PG base and the RY-4 i bought is VG based.

1) do i just swap between Carts and the atomizer will work fine or must i clean the atomizer first before trying the Vg based RY-4 OR

is it better just to grab the second atomizer that came with the kit and put the ry-4 in a cartridge on that and spin that onto my battery instead.

I would use the second atomizer so you get a fresh vape and really taste the RY-4 juice, although Jokesmoke does not have a heavy taste.

Wood, it took me a year and half to quit the analogs after I started vaping. I just needed to set a quit date in my head and stick to it and that worked for me.

That Ry-4(VG) is really yummy. Love the sweetness and the caramel undertones, its actually a nice balance with the tobacco. To me its more reminiscent of a sweet pipe tobacco then anything. Going to keep using this for the day..but i could see this becoming my preferred juice to the Jokesmoke atm. It has a nicer taste and i think the extra sweeteness from the VG base enhances it.

ohhh..p.s Looks like im getting an upgrade anyways. I never knew my cousin vaped as well, and he messaged me last night when he saw a post on my face book about it. He got a Redds starter kit last month Canadian E-cigarette Redds and never used it because he uses some other one that he really likes. So he's giving me the kit with 10 extra blank cartomizers. i was poking around the details on the kit and i really like what im seeing. Love the idea it has a portable charger in the box, a place for extra carts in a nice small package. I travel a lot for work and that is going to be a lot handier for me then the ones i just got.

As a previous owner of the Redds kit, (Gave to a friend to get them off the stinkies) I can tell you this is an excellent system. The battery life is only about 2-3 hours of heavy vaping, but with the PCC you "SHOULD" get a full day out of it. The PCC will recharge between 4-5 batteries, and the vapor and TH you get compared to your 401 will blow your mind. A tip for any new user is draw a little slower than you would on a cigarette. You'll find a balance where you are getting a nice warm vape, with tons of flavour, and good TH. I honestly believe the 808 bottom coil systems are the best pen-style you can get for the money.

The only downfall of this system, like any bottom coil carto that has filler, I've found they don't perform well at all with thick juices. You'll get a lot of dry hits. You said you got some RY4 VG Juice. This may be a little heavy for the carto to wick properly. If it is, you can add a couple drops of distilled water, to the juice to thin it out a bit, or I hear heating the juice (put the bottle in a hot water bath for an hour or two) will thin out the VG permanently.

That being said, nothing beats the convenience of filling a few cartos on your way out the door, and tossing the PCC in your pocket for the day. You may also consider getting a couple 5ml or 10ml dropper bottles to fill with juice to carry around with you "just in case". These cartos are so easy to fill on the fly that I found I just kept a small dropper bottle and used a single carto with blanks in my PCC in case the one I was using burned out.

Thanks. he's sending it in the mail today and i should get it by next week. Im lucky that my Ford Escape has a USB port in it so i can charge the pcc while im on the road as well.

I'll keep an eye on the RY-4 and how it performs with the redds system. Im really enjoying the RY-4 much more then the Jokesmoke and if it seems too thick i'll try your suggestions.

Thats awesome man!...there are all kinds of mixes of PG and VG and you will find one that works well for you in your devices
it seams that 70%PG and 30% VG or 60% PG and 40%VG are very popular mixes!
PG carrys the taste beter then VG but VG gives the wonderfull huge thick clouds of vaper!
