I have been using tpa menthol at about 12% then tried the chocolate mint by itself and it was nice so I combined the chocolate mint and menthol for a nice vape and added a few drops of her sweetener. For the first day it was awesome, then it turned an orangy pink color and started tasting an smelling a but perfumy. I was actually told the vapor smelled like roses. I still taste taste the flavors but now I have an added flowery taste. Anyone run into this before?

I am no expert, but from what i understand is the flavors we use are made up of molecules, that may or may not be related to the molecules that actually make up the "real"flavors. So it's probably that the molecules are reacting with each other causing the color change and even the rosey scent.
I know that I once mixed two clear, slightly different vanilla flavors and ended up with orange colored juice

Most of my DIY juices turn color over the course of a few days. The colors range from rosy pink to orange to yellow. I believe that nicotine turns a rosy pink when exposed to oxygen. So I would say that the color change is normal.

The perfume smell is a complaint that I have seen in a few threads and have had experience with in prefilled cartomizers. Early in my vaping history, I used to get prefilled cartomizers. Occasionally they would arrive unvapable because of a perfume smell/ flavor. This "perfumyness" was only occasionally present and was not the true flavor. I know that there are a few chemists around and wonder if they could take a crack at this. What ingredients in flavorings could react with each other or with PG to produce a sweet strong aromatic scent. Are there conditions that only arise occasionally that could cause these chemicals to react sometimes and not others? This problem seems to haunt the experience of many vapers.
