My juice loses flavor so fast.....

I have recently updated my set up to an istick 20 and nautilus mini. I had been using the ego twist. It was never really good but the kept the nicotine cravings down. I have not completely quit smoking and I know that is part of my problem but I just can't find anything that tastes good for more than a day or less. I do like my new stuff much better! I am still using 12mg and wondered if I lowered it would it help. My friend has the istick 30 and atlantis tank and she had to go to 3mg because it made her sick at higher level but she said the flavor was soooo much better. Can I use the atlantis on my device and is it worth the upgrade? I have gotten so many tips from here and I thank you all for your help!

hi Janhenry and welcome to the forum. I was unable to put the cigs down until I reached my nicotine level. Once I hit that, 99 % of my cravings disappeared. You might be better off buying some 18 mg just to see if it works for you. Going to sub ohm, from what I've read most people cut back on the nicotine because it consumes more juice effectively. I am thinking it takes about 25 watts to push the Atlantis. I am certain a true expert will come along shortly and correctly answer your question. Good luck in your journey.

Maybe, just maybe, flavored juices aren't for you? It took me a year before I realized that I'm never going to appreciate the flavors. The first few vapes, I would be able to taste it, after that it becomes muted and just makes me queasy. Why not try some unflavored at a higher nic to get off the cigarettes completely? You can always mix it down if it's too high.

The Istick 20W will not fire the Atlantis or any other Sub Ohm tank. The 30W and above Isticks will. The Istick30 is heads and shoulders above the 20. The Atlantis is a great tank and gives a lot more punch than the Nautilus. You may have your nic too low to give up the cigs though. I started with 24mg and over six months just dropped to 12. Might not be the device, you may wish to kick up the nic some first, then decide.

I also have just switched to unflavored e-juice. Took a few tanks to get used to, but in the end I'm finding it much more satisfying actually.

Hi Jen and welcome to the forum!

The only thing I have to add to all the good advice above is that perhaps switching flavors often will help - at least until the vapor's tongue goes away.

Hope it helps and Happy Vaping!
