Just two starter kits???
I think you guys are looking in the wrong places by accusing pot heads
or crack heads.....
the pot heads are too lazy to steal, and the crack heads would have took the kitchen sink (if you know what I mean).
sounds to me like a curious janitor or somebody out to try e-cigs for themselves and too cheap to ante up the required ducats to do so like the rest of us!
That still doesn't make it right, and I'm sorry you're having to go through this.

My dad's friends owns a Jeep shop and have fought the thieves with no solution...

Sucks, they will come in and steal doors, and then sell them on ebay. So they had to invent locks to fight it. Yet, they will still other stuff as well.....

They have cameras, and everything like that. It doesn't seem to stop all the thieves in the world for them tho. Some just don't care...

I feel for yea, and I hope they catch the SOBs......it's just rare to ever catch them. At least here it is.....

I should have substituted illegal drug user for marijuana, they're all the same to me.

Perhaps some more exposure to quality literature would be helpful?

Seriously? I thought you were kidding with the first post. You honestly think a pot-smoker is the same as a .... addict? :nah: Especially when you admittedly use a more harmful substance than marijuana, it just happens to be legal. What a stupid thing to say.

If any drug should be legalized it is pot. Alcohol should be the banned drug.

All drugs should be legal. We should have the freedom to CHOOSE what we will do.

Mac- Have you heard anything yet? I am intrigued that someone would break into a store and only sell 2 kits... kind of strange.... keep us posted??

yes alcohol should be illegal.............wouldn't want anyone to take resposibility for their own actions. Must be the alcohol's fault

Totally agree with you on the personal responsibility part. The problem is that the penalties for those that don't exercise any responsibility are either not severe enough, or they are not imposed when a more sever penalty is allowed for. Like the football player that spent a whopping 30 days in jail after being convicted of killing someone with a car after being under the influence.........

If there were actually punishment for those that broke the law then perhaps people would think twice before being stupid(nah, probably not........)

gee lets see alchol was illegal and there was lots of crime and violence linked to it....

so maybe they should legalize everything at let people make ther own choices about what they put in there body.

marijuana, crack, ......, and nicotine, can all be produced and sold cheap if it were legal.

before someone starts selling any of these thing to your Daughter to support there habit, I suggest you write you Congressman and beg him to not keep the cycle going, and just let people do what they are going to do anyway without having to possibly involve your family!

yep the good old US blanket laws...............drinking a beer is equal to drinking 20 and killing someone. Same punishment. No individual rights or individual punishment

All up in your grill..
I am not holding my breath. The mall turned the video footage over to the police who are starting an investigation. They took fingerprints and are reviewing the tapes. The officer gave me a case number and said a detective would contact me in the next week or so. As to insurance I suspect that the deductable is higher then the $300 loss of product so no help there. If an arrest is made or any other details come to light I will definitely post about it.

on an added note and to clarify. A kiosk is not a store with doors that close. It is a cart in the middle of a shopping mall's walkway. The reason why only 2 kits were taken is because it was clearly a crime of opportunity. Someone forced open a display case. They took all they could. In this case 2 displayed starter kits. In order to steal more then this the theif would have had to break into the storage drawers which would have been time consuming and would have also posed the problem of getting away with all that stock (it wouldn't just fit in your pockets)
