My latest mod, the MV Ultra!!!!

Just finished her up. Took be the better part of 2 days to complete. Extensive modifications to the battery area to accept 2 18350's! Also needed to make a custom top cap because the seam was right in the middle (no way to mount a connector otherwise) Building this made the Poorlin look like a walk in the park!


Specs

Voltage range 3.38 - 5.95V @ 6 Amps

Single 18650 emergency charger (23.2mm X 24.3mm x 105mm)
OKR-T/6 Regulator
Input/output capacitors
200 ohm thumbwheel pot w/ 220 ohm resistor
Tactile switch using pin 1 (10K ohm pulldown from pin 3)
18awg wires (except pot & tac switch wires)
Sealed atty connector
2x IMR18350 batts (Can also use 2x 16340's)


I decided not to use an extended connector with a juice well (finish washer) because I wanted to keep the length to a minimum. And because I never drip! Like any mod build with a OKR-T/6 chip, it hits like a freight train! Very pocket friendly, the button is flush with the case, so no need for a on/off switch (no room either!) And since I stealth vape a lot, I left out the LED also.

My my,dems niice!I bet that dual 18650 lasts a while.The poorlin looks great and the mv ultra is a slick beast-It needs the square ez tank from cigtechs to complete the skyscraper profile

Thanks! The dual 18650 mod has 2 Callies Kustoms 3100mah batts in there. I get about 4 days of heavy vaping out of it using dual coil cartos. And no dice on the EZ tank, lol. I make my own tanks.

LOL. Ya I like the poorlin too. But I kinda like this one better because this is an original idea not copied from someone els. And it was twice as hard to build than the poorlin!

After trolling this section of the forum and seeing stuff like this, I'm starting to get the urge to build something, myself, but I'm a little hesitant since I'm a total n00b with electronics

This one is nice too, and when making a comparison, which one has the more efficient use of space, this one or the poorlin?

Both have very limited space to work with! If you use 22awg wires, life will be a lot easier when building either of these mods. But Im too ....! My OCD wont let me use anything but 18awg. I would say they both have about the same amount of room just different shape.

You need to practice soldering first. Get that down and the rest is pretty easy. Just a matter of making everything fit. But remember, always measure twice and cut once!
