This idea I actually got from an old DIY post from a few years back, that I'm having difficulty locating again. I was looking for a subtle, malty kind of juice. Anything strongly flavored just becomes too much, in short I wanted something I could vape all day!

The original recipe said to add 5-10 % Jack Daniels or similar.
(yup that's it).

What I did was : 6% Jack Daniels and
1.5% cotton candy flavor(basically EM, right?).

I've been vaping it for several days now and it is hands down one of my absolute favorites. Hard for me to believe something so good is so simple!

What's interesting to me is that "Jack Daniels" is not what comes to mind at all when I taste it. It seems to have imparted a certain malt flavor (I guess what I'm really doing is kind of "infusing" the Pg?). And a certain low-key sweetness from the cotton candy/EM, which is very nice.

At any rate I'm really thrilled to be perfectly happy with such an easy low-cost juice! When I find that old post, I'll give credit where it's really due.

If nothing else this will slow way down my elusive and expensive quest to buy an adv juice;)

Use Everclear. Just keep in mind it's high octane. I don't recommend vaping Alcohol it is good to get the flavor or oils out. You should let it infuse in the alcohol at room temp for a few days then strain out all the solids then heat it on low until most of the alcohol is gone then mix with what ever and let the alcohol evaporate by low heat or room temp. I believe alcohol evaporates at 170F. I use that in cooking and making my own extracts and stuff for my home made shave oil. But I believe some alcohol will have to be in it for most flavors or essential oils will mix with water or the VG or PG. I'm no expert so I could be wrong. Perhaps a Veteran can elaborate and confirm or show me wrong.
