Thats funny, especially since Best buy now matches Amazon prices.
That's good to know.

Me? I hate to shop, except online. So, I've only ever been to 2 of the local B&Ms. They're a little expensive for my tastes. But, the were perfectly nice and helpful.

Yeah, I think what the guy meant to say was something like...

"The subtank is inferior because we don't have any, so the Aspire is superior because we have them in stock. In other words, whatever we have on hand right now is the best you can buy, so buy it now."

Yeah right...opinions don't pay the rent. Sales pay the rent.

Classic BS sales tactic. Just walk away, and find a source that'll be straight up with you.

Vendors are taking issue with kanger right now because they are launching sooooo many products at once that stuff that was new 3 months ago is now old news. Also they have compatibility issues between models (whether on purpose or not) that make it difficult to stock all the correct products for a given set up. Needless to say that's why my B&M doesn't carry them as they informed me. Personally I'm on board because that's the same crap apple does and I don't like playing the compatibility game. Whereas aspire models are nearly (and i do mean nearly before someone points out obvious exceptions) universally compatible. Meaning fewer products on the shelf to manage and maintain.

It sucks as someone who previously ran there own business and grew up with up entrepreneur parents, that there are so many bills that people either don't think about or don't care about for small business owners. Rent, insurance, Licenses/Certifications, utilities, back stock, broken stuff, samples I can go on and on. So I get it that B&M's are more "expensive" then online prices. But dang! some of these places are atrociously expensive!! I mean 60 - 70% mark up!! That makes it really hard to shop local. But then how do these small business owners stay in business? Who can compete with these online businesses who have such low prices?! It's a total Catch22. But with all that being said, I no longer shop Local. The deals and variety are just too bountiful online! I would have to drive all over town and go to probably 6-7 different shops just to see half the stuff that is conveniently located in one place - the interwebs!! There is just no way small businesses can compete with that! I feel sorry for them!!

I wandered into Sweet Vapes last friday, to look at getting a box mod. Spent a good hour or so, looking over all the different boxes, before deciding on an HB50

Clerk first recommended the Vaporshark. Once told that was out of my price range, he immediately started telling me the pros and cons of every box they had. Was a VERY pleasant experience

Then again: they seem to be doing things right at every turn

It is hard to believe a B&M not carrying any of the Kanger Sub-Tanks. Hell a vaping kiosk in a mall I went to last month even had the Mini and the Nano. A good shop knows to have that new good stuff in stock. Personally I love my Sub-tank Mini. Though I wish the stock coils would last a bit longer. But I am able to get at least 2 weeks out of them. I probably will get into rebuilding with the RBA that game with it once I am out of stock coils. The only real issue I had was with leaking in the beginning but I found a work around for it that works. I make sure everything is tight and as I tilt it right side up I dry hit it to help get the vacuum going good. Since I have started doing that I haven't had any issues with leaking. I haven''t tried the atlantis but it's hard to imagine it being as good as my mini. Any B&M that doesn't carry it is run by idiots.

well come back in three months when kanger comes out with a new tank that "blows the old stuff away" that is not backwards compatible with the 10,000 units a small business just ordered from china of their last "latest thing." Then the store owner will have to put brand new stock on fire sale just to recoup some of the money on the units. Meanwhile put in a new order for the latest thing and still get complaints like you just said. It leaked. Sure you found a way to fix it but that doesn't mean everyone will. That a none repeat sale in the retail business. A savvy business person doesn't get involved in something that is a revolving door with reliability issues.

In my experiences, when shops act like this, it means they ordered way too much of a specific product and don't want to be stuck with it.

We have a hybrid Tobacco/Vaping chain here in Michigan that does this. They do this with juice lines that they heavily invested in as well.

Meanwhile the real vape shops here do not because they carry a variety of everything. I notice a huge difference in business practices when using an American owned mom & pop vape shop vs a foreign owned tobacco shop that operates like a convenience store, now selling vape products.

Thats funny my B&m sells bolth but they recomend the subtank because the occ coils are far superior lol and you get an rda deck too !!!

The dont puss the aspire but do sell it to those who are looking for it
I've heard the OCC's are superior and unlike Aspire, Kanger is also offering Nickel OCC's for us DNA 40 users.
