First off, when I get a brand new 510 cart, I pull out the white fluffy
stuff that is supposed to hold your e-juice, then I replace it with a strip
of blue foam, which can be purchased from any fish aquarium store.
Be sure to get the "hot" blue foam which is designed to withstand very
high temps.
Cut your strip of blue foam at the same lenghth as your cart, but 1/2
WIDER so that when you insert it (use tweezers) you have to compress
it a bit to get in into your cart.
IMPORTANT, you do NOT want your foam any wider than the actual width
of the cart's opening, plus 1/2.
Insert the foam strip into your cart with tweezers and press DOWN to force the foam all the way to the hole in the mouth-piece end.
This will leave you with a empty space in your cart.
Fill the empty space with several drops of your e-juice (VG juice PLEASE!!LOL!!) until the the level of juice is almost to the top of your cart.
Now, carefully take your tweezers and reach down through the pool of
juice and grabe the foam. Gently pull UP on the foam with your tweezers
until it has almost reached the top edge of the cart opening.
Now, also with your tweezers, push the foam back down again.
You will see a bunch of air bubbles coming up from the foam as the air is
being "squeezed" out and replaced with juice. Then just pull the foam
piece back up again so it can make nice contact with the bridge of
your atty.
Think of it as a dry sponge in a basin of water. You are squeezing the sponge in the water and releasing it to suck up the water and fill all the little cells in the sponge.
Now, ad a drop of e-juice directly on the bridge of your atty and insert
your cart, and screw into your batt, which I hope is a Janty eGo, or at
least a 510 Mega batt or passthrough.
You should be able to get alot of vaping w/o having to top off after every 3rd or 4th drag.
Do try this out. The main thing is the size of your blue foam needs to be right, and that little piece of foam can very nicely hold alot of juice if you
first displace the air with juice.
When you start to notice the "hot" taste, simply remove your cart, smash
down your foam, refil the void, and pull the foam back up with your tweezers!
This works very nicely for me, and it avoids the PITA of having to keep
topping off.
Please give it a try and let me know what you think
