I'm posting this to see if there is a home fix before I send it back to Pro vape. Last week my mini quit functioning completely. The button would flash when inserting a battery, but the menu would not come up nor would the device fire. I cleaned the contact pin and battery button with 91% alcohol. Still wouldn't fire and the menu wouldn't come up. Hmmm..... so I poured a small bit of the alcohol into the device, swirled it around a few times, dumped it and let it dry out. Perfect! Worked great for about 2 days, and then started with the same issues. So, I cleaned it out again and let it dry out. Worked great when I tested it and I took the battery out and put it away. Pulled it out today to use it and the same issue. Won't hit a lick at anything. Any other suggestions? I've only had it for 4 months so it's still under warranty, just didn't know if there was something I was overlooking.

How do the threads in the battery cap look? If gritty and dark, there's some oxidation of the bare metal threads going on. The battery cap is part of the Provari electrical circuit, and the oxidation build up can interfere with the circuit. A tooth brush and some anti-oxidant like Noaloxx will make the threads look shiney and brand new again. Provape sells this in the accessory section, or many of the hardware stores like Lowes and Home Depot.

Good idea, but no dice.
