Let me start this off by telling you I am sober. lol
I have a couple MVP2.0s and 3.0s. a 2.0 had a problem with the 510 connection (over tightening). I replaced the Oring/gasket and it worked fine for another week or 2. The other day I was using it for an hour or two before I set it on the table and noticed the green light staying on. After 10-15 seconds it started to flash and the unit went dead. no more power light no more vapor.
I took the addy off and put it on the charger I didnt get the power button red green yellow flash like normal. I took it off of the charger and forgot about it for a day. I picked it up after sitting 24 hrs. when I did the reg,green,yellow flashed a few times but this time it wasnt on the charger. It then went dead again. I let it sit another day or two and tonight I picked it up and when I pushed the buttons on it (again off of the charger) This time the display screen started to flash. It flashed what looked like random segments of the lcd then it displayed a 1, a large space then another 1. They both stayed lit but alternated brightness. after a few minutes again the unit was dead.
I tried to use the USB output to see if my cell would recognize any charge with no luck. I am concerned about trying to put it on the charger without knowing if its safe. The unit is only 3 months old and has not been abused. Has anyone heard of anything like this happening?
